You think about it a moment and you will see that IF Tibet regains independence whatever force that might be is going to bring it into conflict with every single surrounding state, no matter what they are called!
Living here in a neighborhood with several people from different parts of Kashmir I learned quickly to always refer only to the geographic structure of the area and not to the geopolitical details.
As I said, it's far more complex than I described. No doubt it could get worse.

I proved you wrong. Tibetan independence would be instigated by India who would want a return to pre-1949 days when they had a border state separating China from India.
