The semi-official al-Ahram newspaper Friday said that after the reshuffle Obeid, 72, would probably occupy a new economic post reporting directly to the 76-year-old president. The aim is to pump "youthful and fresh blood" into the administration, it added. Yea, 72 is youthful and fresh blood.

"Hey I wonder what the potential outcome of this is." Not sure, but Bin Laden is still an Eqyptian, isn't he? Who amongst the radicals could better represent the radicals if Egypt succumbs? That would make Bin Laden untouchable by the U.S. as a sovereign head of state, wouldn't it?
Sheesh! What an ugly thought.

But I love Stargate so I'll give Atlantis a few weeks to get up and running. But Teal'c with hair and Jack behind a desk? I just knew we had something in common besides a passionate love for our gal Liddy!!!

Gaza was not near the problem when it was policed by the IDF instead of Arafat. But things may have degenerated too far at this point. The Palestinians have destroyed any chance for a society when they brainwashed the next generation into being suicidal maniacs.
That kind of child abuse cannot be reversed. The Arab's of Palestine have no future, they sold their souls. I would hate to be a beat cop on that territory.
If the Pali's were to be walled off from Israel, they would all starve to death. They are so filled with destruction none of them can run a factory to build anything but bombs.
Kids that live to stomp on sand castles never learn to build them.
Scary thing, Gaza being cut loose with no adult supervision, who will feed them and keep them from killing each other off? Dang glad I am on this side of the fence.

Peace is patriotic because antiwar is very embarassing.

I think we could make an exception to the rule for him.
But I think his heart stopped beating long ago.

I read a report that he had back surergy a couple weeks ago He had a spine inserted.

"But I think his heart stopped beating long ago." Yes, but they could truss him up like Lenin and display him holding a microphone in his sarcophigi. Heh.

Wow, very informative post. I never understood the situation that way. thanks.
Just when I didnt think I could hate Arafat more.
It must be an unimaginable hell hole there, self inflicted.

Guess who's right after Israel in receiving foreign aid from the US? That's right- Egypt. If you know anyone from Egypt you know that almost everyone works for the government and that they do almost nothing for their wages. Another big payoff by the US taxpayers to buy the elusive Middle East Peace courtesy of our beloved Nobel Laureate, Jimmy Carter </barf>.

Actually, while that is my favorite episode, I do kinda like the one with Machello, simply to watch Christopher Judge do a drop dead PERFECT Richard Dean Anderson.

Maybe it's like when Christine Keeler brougnt down the British Government.
Her mother wrote a book: "My Daughter, The Cabinet Maker."
(Not a good cabinet maker, one misplaced screw and the whole cabinet fell apart.)
There was a rumor that she committed suicide; they found her under a peer.
