JUST BREAKING ON DRUDGE - NO STORY YET.
They should also list all of the votes in the senate that he "hasn't had the time" to make.
New tagline.
Sorry! :o)
And Chase got his MBA where?
Because they are blinded by hatred?
What really amuses me is that kerry wasn't even their first choice, but now "he's the man".
Its like "The Emperors New Clothes"--they are all watching him on parade and pretending he isn't dull and pointless or that he doesn't represent the very thing they despise the most: A Member Of The Rich Elite.
Yep--limp-wristed Kerry on a snowboard and when GWB heads back to the ranch, he wields a chainsaw---that must frighten them.
I daresay that this commentary lacks any of the intelligence of which the author complains.
"Bush has the most dangerously simplistic view of the
world of any president in my memory." Hmmm, kill the enemy before he kills us *is* simplistic, but effective. I presume that another 20 years of appeasement while they infiltrate the west with terrorist cells will work better?
"It's no wonder the president avoids press conferences like the plague. Take away his cue cards and he can barely talk. Americans should be embarrassed that an Arab king (Abdullah of Jordan) spoke more fluently and articulately in English than our own president at their joint press conference recently."
Clearly, this guy has never met the President. Most who have say that in private, he is as articulate and engaging as one could wish for. And genuine. Let us never forget that. Why waste precious time on press conferences, where liberal shills like David Gregory try to bait and trap the President rather than get real information? And what cue cards has he ever used in any presentation? Maybe this guy watches too much Leno.
"John Kerry is at least an educated man, well-read, who knows how to think and who knows that the world is a great deal more complex than Bush's comic-book world of American heroes and foreign evildoers. It's unfortunate that in our po! orly educated country, Kerry's very intelligence and refusal to ad opt simplistic slogans might doom his presidential election efforts."
Where is the evidence of Kerry's great intelligence? Is his waffling simply his "overthinking" a situation to the point of uselessness? At least Bush has priorities, like actually doing the job he is paid for, and leaving the campaigning for his spare time.
I understand that the President actually gets security briefings EVERY DAY, and Kerry cannot even blow off the likes of Whoopie Goldberg, Jessica Lange and Chevy Chase to go to a SINGLE one!!??
He has had simplistic slogans: look at that "hilarious" comment on how his and Edwards' hair quailifies them to be President and sidekick? I am laughing myself sick. Har har.
"It is not at all conservative to balloon government spending, to vastly increase the power of government, to show contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law, or to tell people that foreign outsourcing of American jobs is good for them, that giant fiscal and trade deficits don't matter, and that people should not know what their government is doing."
It is when the very survival of the country is at stake. Okay, maybe not the outsourcing, but people don't think of that in search of bargains at Walmart, or when buying a Ducati mortorcycle (and pretending to drive a Harley for the election!).
"Bush is the most prone-to-classify, the most secretive president in ! the 20th century. His administration leans dangerously toward the authoritarian.
Fine. Go to one of the Islamic utopias and tell me that.
"It's no wonder that the Justice Department has convicted a few Arab-Americans of supporting terrorism. What would you do if you found yourself arrested and a federal prosecutor whispers in your ear that either you can plea-bargain this or the president will designate you an enemy combatant and you'll be held incommunicado for the duration?"
I guess all the people that are in prison are innocent. Okay, let 'em go! /sarcasm
"This election really is important, not only for domestic reasons, but because Bush's foreign policy has been a dangerous disaster. He's almost restarted the Cold War with Russia and the nuclear arms race."
Pardon my vulgarity, but WTF is he talking about? "Restarted the cold war with Russia?" Nuclear arms race? With who? North Korea? Pakistan? They are threats but Iraq wasn't?
"America is not only hated in the Middle East, but it has few friends anywhere in the world thanks to the arrogance and ineptness of the Bush administration."
Really? A few more Madrid attacks may change their minds. And don't forget that soldiers returning from Iraq say that most Iraqis do not hate us. I feel comfortable in saying that most Afghans likely do not either.
"Don't forget, a scientific poll of Europeans found us, Israel, North Korea and Iran as the greatest threats to world peace."
Of course, their appeasement techniques have a proven track record of success. Hope you like speaking Arabic, you pompous Eurotrash!
"I will swallow a lot of petty policy differences with Kerry to get a man in the White House with brains enough not to blow up the world and us with it. Go to Kerry's Web site (http://www.johnkerry.com/http://www.johnkerry.com/ ) and read some of the magazine profiles on him. You'll find that there is a great deal more to Kerry than the GOP attack dogs would have you believe."
Well, at least he admits he swallows for Kerry. I wonder what his academic credentials are?
Yeah, the Boston Globe, the Swiftvets for Truth, and the Vietnam Veterans for Truth have some pretty good articles and statements, backed up by facts, not myths, about Kerry that just don't seem to make it into the "mainstream" media.
"Besides, it would be fun to have a president who plays hockey, windsurfs, ride motorcycles, plays the guitar, writes poetry and speaks French."
All instead of doing his job, apparently. He forgot being a boytoy to a Sugarmomma. And speaking a dead language is no useful accomplishment.
"It would be good to have a man in the White House who has killed people face to face. (You mean in the back, after you have softened him up with a few hits from a .50 cal. machine gun?) Killing people has a sobering effect on a man and
dispels all illusions about war."
Yeah, I think of all the American soldier's deaths that Kerry and Fonda caused by prolonging the Vietnam war by heartening the enemy with their sedition. The only "illusions about war" are the ones that proclaim Kerry as a "war hero."
He's pure scum to be collecting that paycheck for being AWOL from the Senate! He'd be AWOL from the White House too - just look at how he doesn't even give as much as an afterthought to the nation's security.
I see a new Bush ad.
Read this everyone. How can anyone take this guy seriously??
I just had to send you a round of applause on your post #87. Thank you.
do you think John-John have been acting so touchy-feely so they can court the gay vote?
KERRY PASSES UP TERROR BRIEFING:
'I JUST HAVEN'T HAD TIME And this man wants us to have him in charge of our National Security ????
Turn your speakers up, then
click here or on the pic, lol !
I don't know. They are probably trying to convey that they are good buddies (because of all the rumors that they can't stand each other), but are so fake that it comes out looking gay.
I think that the word that best descibes them is "hometrosexual." :o)
That guy has been an anti-war loon since we went after Iraq.
Sorry, but Iraq has made several paleo-con and pseduo-conservatives to go AWOL in the cause of freedom. They
President Bush is merely a frontman, an empty suit, who is manipulated by the people in his administration."
This is conspiracy nut-job idiocy. Actually, Bush made the calls, right or wrong.
"It's no wonder that the Justice Department has convicted a few Arab-Americans of supporting terrorism."
AHem... the question is not their ethnicity, the question is: DID THEY SUPPORT TERRORISTS? IF they did, the convictions were correct.
And so it goes... This guy is lying about how Bush has changed the perception of America. If we are hated for taking out dangerous dictators, then we are hated for doing the right thing.
Stunning!
Americans are constantly fearful of another terrorist attack, & this guy's too busy getting botox shots.
How can he critize Bush - if he isn't informed?
What a Loser - Jfin'K: he doesn't care about us, just getting his hands on that $2.5 trillion federal loot.
He should have JUMPED at the chance for a WH briefing - if only to put on the facade of 'being interested.'
He just lost the election.
Only if the American public gets wind of this. I hope they do. Bush has to make sure they know what Kerry said. This should be put in an ad.
When I saw that picture you posted this morning, I screamed. Loudly.
No wonder they call it the most "gay-friendly" ticket.
I understand that it was not recorded or filmed, unless somebody managed to do that surrepticiously. Or is my information wrong? Will someone advise? Thanks, FReepers!
John Kerry is one of the worst Dem candidates in a long time, and next to the guy he was governor under, the worst of my lifetime. He has nothing to build on, is having "Dean moments" with the slipping of the tongue, and the more people see him, the less they like him. Edwards was supposed to be the charismatic shot in the arm their campaign needed. Instead, they get a negligible bounce while Bush starts turning up the heat. I saw some footage from that Bush rally in Pennsylvania today, and lemme tell ya, that one rally looked more pumped than the last 2 or 3 Kerry rallies combined. Kerry owned the first part of the year with the primaries and non-stop media coverage, and now Bush is coming out with some pretty good commercials and is hitting the stump again.
Kerry needs a huge convention bounce to stay in this thing, to offset whatever late bounce Bush will get from his convention. If not, well, you know what'll happen...
