WELL DONE!!!!!!
Why Thank you
The same thing can be said about conformists.
Undomesticated conservatives make the party more interesting.
Well ya gotta look at the Generations and genre of their prospective musics country is usually a laid back type of music but Rock and Roll is exactly that Rock and Roll i must say i don't like to much of todays rock its well wimpy and crying rock and roll when i was growing up was hard hitting with the exception of a few bands who fit the mold of wimpy Ted Nugent aknows how to get a crowd rocking through great music Gene Simmons is an actor on stage just like the other band members it was for show to pump up the crowds
Heck i had the Kiss band painted on my bedroom wall when i was a kid full Murial when they came out i thought they were better than sliced bread i since then grown up a bit [Just a little ] But i still enjoy listening to them both the older stuff.
Gene Simmons may act crazy just like Ted Nugent But they believe in America they show it every time they speak Dennis Miller is Crazy too But alot of his political views are very conservative
I personally don't prefer country music its good to a certain point but when they start the crying in your beer stuff i change the station if I'm gonna cry i want some good blues to do it to Albert Collins comes to mind or BB King.
I give these Guys a fair share of grief to when i dont like what they say But everyone to their personal views thats why the country is Free thank God for that !!
The Kid is known for going to visit the troops and party with them.
Amen to Albert Collins and BB King. I'm with you there.
I NEVER used to listen to country, but started with Toby Keith and Daryl Worley's patriotic songs. Not bad. there are some good artists, and a few great songwriters. But Nashville is a town where you must conform and play the party line.
I guess when I'm honest with myself, it's just that I hate Kid Rock and Ted Nugent's music. I'd love to find a conservative rock band or artist I could get behind.
Hey man, I don't want to get into this with you on this issue, BUT the good old country boys do not make grade for me.
If you like country thats great. I personally will stick with the likes of KR, Nugent, PT (The Who) and rockers that can fight the trend.
The country bunch already has the Nascar Dads sewn up. I prefer to go other ways.
If you don't like rockers, thats on you. Pick up your fiddle and stomp your feet (Thats cool), I'll take the rockers. :)
Hey man? Make the grade? Nascar Dads?
Why don't you just call me "Gramps" or "Old-Timer"?
I'm 36; I'm not old. I like SOME country. But I was born and raised on rock. I listen to rock. I'm simply saying that there aren't enough conservative rockers out there; those who are publicly conservative are often...odd. I wish it were otherwise.
We're giving the Mexican tourism industry a boost -- look at all the freedom down here. No helmet laws, no seatbelt laws... we saw two girls standing up in the back of a truck going down the highway.
In the States, not only would you get a ticket, but they'd take away your kids... AND your truck!
Hey man, I'm a lot older than you, I love Nascar and the folks that will carry the south. Just exchanging thoughts MAN.
You sounded much younger. My hat's off (my balding head) to you. I agree with you about Townsend. He was a classic rebel. I don't know how conservative his politics were, but he did a good job waking people up, and thrashing their eardrums as well.
I like some of KISS' old stuff; and while I respect the heck out of Gene Simmons for supporting the War on Terror, I can't stand to hear him discuss morality (or his lack thereof). Then there's Johnny Ramone, he's conservative and doesn't give a rip what others think. I can't come up with any other rockers that lean right.
I stand corrected. Learn something new everyday. I knew it was a democrat, and in the JFK era...
Thanks!
