Well ya gotta look at the Generations and genre of their prospective musics country is usually a laid back type of music but Rock and Roll is exactly that Rock and Roll i must say i don't like to much of todays rock its well wimpy and crying rock and roll when i was growing up was hard hitting with the exception of a few bands who fit the mold of wimpy Ted Nugent aknows how to get a crowd rocking through great music Gene Simmons is an actor on stage just like the other band members it was for show to pump up the crowds
Heck i had the Kiss band painted on my bedroom wall when i was a kid full Murial when they came out i thought they were better than sliced bread i since then grown up a bit [Just a little ] But i still enjoy listening to them both the older stuff.
Gene Simmons may act crazy just like Ted Nugent But they believe in America they show it every time they speak Dennis Miller is Crazy too But alot of his political views are very conservative
I personally don't prefer country music its good to a certain point but when they start the crying in your beer stuff i change the station if I'm gonna cry i want some good blues to do it to Albert Collins comes to mind or BB King.
I give these Guys a fair share of grief to when i dont like what they say But everyone to their personal views thats why the country is Free thank God for that !!
Amen to Albert Collins and BB King. I'm with you there.
I NEVER used to listen to country, but started with Toby Keith and Daryl Worley's patriotic songs. Not bad. there are some good artists, and a few great songwriters. But Nashville is a town where you must conform and play the party line.
I guess when I'm honest with myself, it's just that I hate Kid Rock and Ted Nugent's music. I'd love to find a conservative rock band or artist I could get behind.
