"Free Republic" Free Fantasy Football at Yahoo!

The only restriction is that I'd like the team names to be a place name (real or fictional) and a noun. Also, I can switch to live draft if there is an interest. BUT, if you still want to participate and can't make a live draft, the live draft for you would be done via autopick (with your pre-draft list or Yahoo!'s)-- which is the default anyway. If you need help in how to sign up for this, just let me know. And, it's free to play.

Browns fans abound

Fifty, League II here is what I pinged to the (now locked) thread from last year. It might be full now. If it is and we can track everyone down, we can always simply reconstitute the AWFFL league (which featured an all-Browns-fans Super Bowl last year).

HA! My husband and I read the team names last night and both were like, "Obscene? What kind of name is that?! Nice." The explanation today is well worth it.

For 3 years, I have tried and failed to find someone to laugh at my little joke. I would explain it to all my former fantasy league members, with only a blank stare as a response.

Thank you.

Whoops.

Guess it kind of gives me away as a non-reader of the article.

OK - I'm changing my name to "Palmetto State Mosquitos."

OK. Max 20 characters (which wouldn't be a bad team name).

"Palmetto State Bugs."

Now this should be interesting. I just changed our name to Stow Steelers, and here we have what looks to be a serious Browns fan. Hmm...guess we'll be watching out for the K9 Corps.

Sure, if there's enough interest. We can also split it into 3 conferences of 12 if we get a couple more. Some may prefer the smaller numbers in the conferences. Anyone interested, should just reply to me on this thread.

We just need 1 more and we can split into 3 12-team leagues.
