Yes, EW is a brainless industry flak.
By November, Iraq will either be much more self sufficient than it is now or it will be a bigger mess. If it is a bigger mess, then Bush will probably lose. If it is more stable than Bush will probably win.
The democrats have staked the election on being able to beat up Bush over Iraq. If There is testimony about Saddam that looks like Nazi Germany, then this is a plus. In short, the dems have tossed an enormous, fat Hail Mary.
