Wonder what this politically-expedient conservative will say next? Can't wait until Specter starts quoting Scottish law when runnning the Judiciary Committee into the ground in the near future, citing his "discomfort" with considering President Bush's "extreme and controversial" judicial appointees.

Rick Santorum would energize President Bush's re-election chances as his Vice President running mate. It must be apparent that Vice President Cheney should step aside now to let someone with more energy for campaigning. He may be able carry Pennsylvania.
