State Police said Wednesday morning that they were assisting in a homicide investigation in the community of Hondo in Lincoln County.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reports an incident happened on the ranch owned by former ABC news reporter and commentator Sam Donaldson.

July 7, 2004— Police in New Mexico are investigating a possible homicide at the ranch of ABC News correspondent Sam Donaldson.
A body was found today on Donaldson's remote ranch north of Hondo, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department told ABC affiliate KOAT-TV.
Donaldson and his wife are at the ranch. They are fine and are assisting police with the investigation, ABC News reports.
State police are assisting the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, a spokesman said.
Donaldson's ranch is in the south-central part of the state, between Roswell and Ruidoso.

The ranch is near Roswell, NM. Maybe they found an alien.
