Do you suppose this was because he was Muslim? If this story is true.

Something's fishy...
Why would they let THIS guy go, a guy who can come back with his friends and and put a world of hurt on them, yet they kill harmless civilians?
This was a publicity stunt, IMO.

If true, I wonder if the timing of this will knock the John-John ticket off the news for a while this morning.

There is no way to spin this other than that he is Moslem.
Trying to state that religion is not the issue is getting futile.

Nominations functionality - a complete list of what is used. I think they freed him because of their fear of retaliation.

Is this the same guy they reported that the kidnappers said would NOT fight again for US armed force?

Freed as long as he agrees to no longer serve in his nation's military?

All press reports up to now do not substantiate this. Lets all sit tight. It is only the families opinion, not fact.

Just reporting what CNN has on it's website.

Freed as long as he agrees to no longer serve in his nation's military? They ask... do you agree to quit the military, or do we cut off your head? Hmmmmmm.... let me flip a coin on that one?

Like such an "agreement" would mean anything!
