Since Mr Greenspan only represents the rich - Fact, he dosen't want the low minimun wage changed, infact he wants it abolished. Can the poor be represented by suing him? This man has legally robbed the average person blind. He has way to much power and it needs to be changed. He cannot keep giving money to big companies by taking it from the lower end of the scale. I personally cannot see giving any money to CEO's of public companies. That's what he is doing. When has Greenspan ever represented the low scale of paying jobs in this country? I don't like members of Congress quizzing Greenspan and having to put up with what Greenspan wants. Everyone makes mistakes, Greenspan in not perfect. Currently there are no check and balances for the FRB. Congress needs to take the power from this office and let Congress decide on what's good and bad for the country. At least there will be more than one opinion on what to do with the econony.
Welcome Mr. Poopypants!
Alas, billlll won't see it, as billll has been bannnnned!
Love it!
BTW, the mere fact that he was zotted adds to the FR coffers as the VKPAC is still donating for every ZOT.
Did she really say that?! LOL! That and the 'astronauts on Mars' comment.
You ought to have to take a common-sense exam to get into Congress.
Yep!
I too support a high minimum wage. It should be as high as an employer and an employee agree upon.
Nice catch. We need a rogues gallery of these pond scum escapees...
This thread reaffirms my belief that I am reaonably intelligent and the average liberal is an idiot loon. Thanks, billlll!

My almost 16 year old has a better understanding of economics.
The poor aren't poor because the rich are rich. As a matter of fact there are very, VERY few actual poor in America. Most have a TV, a telephone, and 10 lbs (at least) to lose.
The minimum wage is not the road to the birth of plenty, which is why the Dems are careful to keep it low enough to just take jobs away from non-voting lower socio-economic class teenagers, and illegal (except when off the books) and newly arrived poorly educated immigrants.
Yeah, so do I.
You see, it's called capitalism (look it up).
Apparently Greenspan raised taxes again. Or worse, reduced them.
Zot aside. This guy couldn't balance a checkbook.
Raising the minimum wage gives everybody (including the wage earner ) an effective pay cut. Raising the minimum wage with it's ripples in union wages is a prime instigator for inflation.
Inflation devalues every dollar anyone has ever saved.
Therefore the high school student salting money away for college or for a first car just had all their savings eroded.
Bill will work for minimum wage all the days of his life, if he doesn't wise up.
but it sounds so good when the politicians say "We want to give money to the poor working-class" the campaign equivalent of, "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you."
