Heard over the radio today that now Kerry is claiming to be a conservative. I'm beginning to feel sorry for this poor confused man.

Another "Say whatever I need to say in order to gain votes". This one is VERY clever. It appeases the Chrisitan Right somewhat. And Kerry knows damn well that thanks to Mike Moore, the Left would vote for a moldy sandwich over Bush, and he can say whatever he likes with no effect on his base.

"I believe abortion should be safe, legal and RARE"

"I believe life begins at conception"
John Kerry, 2004
Look how Clinton appointees have done everything possible to stymie any and all attmepts to limit abortion in any way whatsoever. Kerry's would do the same.

Maybe he's afraid of getting excommunicated. He's such a dedicated catholic after all.

And what sorrow He must feel when someone has taken it upon themselves to kill this human based upon some supposed "superior, enlightened liberal morality."

Hmmm don't know. I guess I I would say "no" since denying there's a god(s) is not a form of worship, which I think religion is - whether it is worshiping idols or the living God.

God, maybe? :o)
Seriously, met someone who had a real live "relationship", not "religion". I wanted what they had. Hard to explain, I guess. Lots of events led up to that point, too.

According to the Church Fathers, ensoulment occurred at "quickening", i.e. when the mother could feel the baby move. That's a very subjective test, but of course that is all they had to go on in those days. Given that the status quo is to--for all practical purposes--allow abortion at any stage in gestation, for any reason--I would suggest focusing on arguing that a pre-born baby that's moving and kicking is clearly a baby. Even if one can't convince everyone right off the bat that a lump of cells in a petri dish is a baby, if one can start by getting the public to acknowledge that a mid-term fetus is clearly a baby, things can progress from there.
Incrementalism is an effective tool when liberals use it; I wish conservatives could use it for good causes.

He believes life begins at conception when he is in Texas and life begins when the child is out of the womb when he is in Massachussets.

There he goes again.....Flip-Flopping away......trying to get the Catholic Vote.
He thinks he can vote for abortion on demand & partial birth abortion to keep NARAL; NOW & pro-abortion groups giving him votes...then claim to believe 'personally' that life begins at conception!
If he really believed what he says he does....he couldn't possibly support the murder of the unborn!

This will enrage the Feminazis and the secularist Left. John F*ckin' has revealed himself to be a conflicted Catholic. He's actually knowledged there's really a baby. Boy, just wait til you see how the pro-aborts react to this rhetorical grenade he's just tossed into their laps. He can't help himself... because he can't.

hehehe..... you know, it may all be for tactical convenience. Ketchup Boy's statement could be one of those flip-flops. It doesn't really matter. He's asserted the unborn do have rights. For the Democratic Left, this is dangerous territory.

And what he just said by the way, is politically incorrect. Is he angling for a "Sister Souljah" moment with the pro-abort crowd inside the party? I'd love to see some fireworks later this month.
