Let's begin with the assumption she is an aspriring journalist. It is obvious that she is in the vein of most journalists today; she is biased, but neither wise nor original.
She is a typical youngster who thinks her elders are all fools and assumes to attack people whose greatness deny her the honor of being a pimple on their rear end.
If she had any journalism courses, she apparently failed to learn that the goal of a journalist is who, what, where, when and why and the truth at any cost.
With no original thought of her own (she hasn't lived long enough to know anything) she spouts off relying on The Rolling Stone (an insignificant rag) and Teddy Kennedy (who ran to concoct a cover story while a girl drowned in his car). She reveals that her intellect is on the level of those who write their names and phone numbers in public toilets by her admission that she has a tasteless bumper sticker on her car, advertising that she has no class nor wit.
She gains her wisdom about the environment from a trash movie, who any fool would laugh at. She accuses Bush of withdrawing of the Kyoto treats, which this country, under Clinton, had never ratified. Bush had the fortitude to call it what it was; bogus science and an economic diaster for America.
Her assertion that Bush and Kennedy began as friends is a bald-faced lie. Bush extended a friendly hand to Teddy and brought back a bloody stub.
Any time Bush has sought to deal with Democrats, he has been mauled, or hasn't our astute journalist heard of Tom Daschle?
Then she relies on Micharl Moore to buttress her arguments. His film was praised in France's leftist movie elite because they wanted to trash Bush.
Had Bush not been around, their artistic integrity would have compelled them to trash his pseudo documentary for what it was, trash. Even the French have some integrity when it costs them nothing.
It is heartwarming to see her support her hero, John kerry, in his ambivalence. When he was being a senator in Massachusetts, he voted the Kennedy line, good or bad. Now that he is a candidate, he observes which way the focus groups are going and races to get in front.
Child, if you really want to be a journalist, find out if any one of John's Purple Hearts were the result of taking a bullet. I have taken one in my time and it hurts; boy does it hurt.
By the way, I took 12 hours of journalism under Truman Democrats in 1951 and those professors never let their politics affect their integrity.
Go thou and do likewise.
Zing!
Wonderful! Right on target.
And they printed this? I'm not even half as rough on K.C.Star journalists and can't get my letters printed.
Nice.
Would it have been easier to scan this in via an OCR scanner? (Then again, I have never found one that worked).
I about feel over when I read it, can't believe they printed it either!!
OK which one of you guys wrote this ?...........:o)
Great letter!!
D***. That is going to leave a few welts!
This is why Bush is going to win in November. The guy's sentiments mirror those I hear in West Virginia.
WOW! A primer in how to say the most with the least amount of words, do ya' think he got his message across?
Never see a rebuttal like this in KC Star or it would make Diuguid and Lokeman cry!
Great letter to the editor! Didn't they print the name of the writer?
Here is my letter printed in the Jacksonville newspaper yesterday.

'FAHRENHEIT 9/11': Film fits definition of propaganda
This is in reply to a letter regarding the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 and the opinion that we should "consider Michael Moore's point of view."
Moore is entitled to his opinion, and I am entitled to look at all the facts and totally reject his opinion in the formulation of mine.
Moore's profession doesn't entitle him to have a bigger say in the future of this country than me or my next door neighbor. The public is also entitled to know the truth of his agenda, which he has acknowledged: defeat of George W. Bush for re-election in November.
Moore has participated in a concerted effort with the anti-Bush group, MoveOn.org, to drive up the attendance of the film to make it No. 1.
Movie critics of print, cable, and broadcast media have properly reviewed this film and collectively said the film contains half-truths and out-of-context information framed in a manner to ridicule the president.
However, the liberal-slanted entertainment box office "media hypers" have assisted Moore and proclaimed Fahrenheit 9/11 the largest opening weekend attendance of a documentary ever. Truth be told, the film more closely fits the definition of "propaganda."
Propaganda is the "systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause; material disseminated by the advocates or opponents of a doctrine or cause: wartime propaganda."
The letter writer expresses that his source of news consists of Fox News, The Florida Times-Union and The Wall Street Journal. He goes on to discard the news he receives from Fox as "tools of the party," yet he states that he has read the same information in the Times-Union and The Wall Street Journal. (Fox is owned by News Corp. and has no connection with any political party whatsoever and, according to Nielsen ratings, is the most watched cable news channel across the country).
The fact is that Moore is no more a documentarian than Leni Reifenstahl, the producer who made the Adolf Hitler propaganda movie 70 years ago, glorifying Hitler and the Third Reich.
Moore made a propaganda film that endangers the lives of our brave young servicemen and servicewomen who are in harm's way today in Iraq and Afghanistan. Moore should be tried for sedition.

Dealing with the current crowd of self absorbed Urinalists (young and old), it's like trying to teach a pig to dance. All you do is waste your time and irritate the pig.
Did she get it? I doubt it.
Yes, they printed it and put his name on the tag for the thread.
I've got to search out and find this man. If he's not a monthly dues paying member of FR he surely needs to be.
Wow!!
Would I love to have this guy/gal's stinging way of getting to the point! I would love to meet them, and give a big ole pat on the back.
Be sure and bookmark this thread; chances are he's got a computer and you can link it over to him.
Good luck in your phone book search or Googleization of his name!
IIRC there were MoveOn.org people on the streets of NYC PAYING PEOPLE to get in line for the Clinton book signing. I presume they would do the same for the Moore movie.
It's always the same .. they cannot function in the free society .. they must be able to control everything.
