- the first documentary ever to top the American film charts in its opening days

Uh Mr. d'Ancona, its not a doumentary. It's a leni rifesnstahl tribute to satisfy the rabid and self-consuming appetite of the neo-nazi Bush haters.

Will the balled-bovine's excretement never stop flowing?

And is every sufferer of the Liberal Psychosis so absolutely in the grip of his own morbidly self-loathing-based hatred as to be incapable of any intellectual activity whatsoever -- or of telling the truth?

My bet is the first on AlQaeda's list of evil Americans is Michael Moore and his followers....they are not as adept at making distinctions between good westerners and evil ones as MM claims to be

"You just wonder how many people in the States will get to see it, since they live in a country under censorship."

???? THAT is why the world hates America - more media whores in the uK not counting ignorant people and worst of all ... LAWYERS and activist judges in the U.S.A. who agree with that stupid woman who babbered the above statement.

But we cannot either forget our non-existant American conservatives who are too cowardly or too blind in their pursuits of power themselves (especially those who are politicians, lawyers or judges!)

The anti-war lobby has the slick movies of Michael Moore. And what do we hawks have? The sickening images of Abu Ghraib, that's what.

THE FILM THEY DON'T WANT

June 28, 2004 -- I'D like to make a documentary entitled "What We're Up Against." I'd include the following:

* Scenes from the destruction of the World Trade Center: jets crashing, people jumping from the upper floors, the towers' collapse, the months-long digging through the rubble — and the excruciating body-identification task faced by the medical examiner's office.

* The "beheading videos" — from reporter Daniel Pearl right through to Korean Kim Sun-il.

* The charred and mutilated bodies of four Halliburton workers hanging from a bridge in Fallujah.

* Post terror-bombing scenes from Bali, Madrid, and Istanbul. Ditto for Riyadh, but with additional footage of the recent attack showing the 22 victims whose throats were slit.

* The Saddam Hussein "torture videos," photos of the mass grave sites containing 300,000 Iraqis and photos of Kurdish men, women and children killed by chemical poisoning.

* Footage of the pregnant Israeli woman and her four daughters murdered by two Palestinians who then put an additional bullet in each child's head and one in the abdomen of the mother.

* A "montage" of numerous mullahs and imams whose non-stop spewing of anti-American and anti-Semitic speech incites further hatred and violence.

* Another montage of "joyous Arabs" dancing in the streets after virtually every successful act of terror.

Think I'd win a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival? Neither do I.

Moore is the most powerful spokesman of the myth that gripped the Spanish people when they elected Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero as their Prime Minister in the wake of the Madrid bombing: namely, that if we oust specific politicians from office - replace Bush with Kerry, Blair with Brown - the Islamic fundamentalists will leave us alone. It is, of course, psychologically reassuring for voters to be told that they have this power, that there is something quick and clean they can do about their collective predicament. But it is also a fantasy. The theocratic guerrillas of al-Qaeda and its associates who, it emerged last week, were planning to bomb a British primary school in Madrid and, on Friday, promised fresh attacks in Europe, will not be appeased by any number of political scalps. Their ambitions for the world are much greater and more terrifying.

I'm afraid he's right about this, and what's worse, I'm not sure what anyone can so or do to convince such people that Islamic fundamentalists won't be mollified by conciliatory gestures.

Of course, Moore has proven Bush to be correct. Provide a friendly environment and almost anyone can be a successful capitalist. Moore is a successful capitalist. He has provided something that the market is willing to pay to see. His investors must be delighted because they'll get back their investments plus a great return. That's capitalism!!!

Now, if Moore wasn't also a lying hypocrit, he'd disown capitalism and turn over all his profits (in capitalism, ALL profits are ill gotten) to folks who deserve what he has looted from the market.

Moore's profits are just like those of the oil company. He has overcharged for something he could have sold at a profit at $3.00 a ticket. Moore is a price gouger, a capitalist run amok. Moore has become what he claims to hate in others!! He can only purge himself of this terrible abuse by giving away all the excess profits. BUT, HE WON'T!!

I think the author misses a big point here. He says that "No war in modern history has been as badly sold to the public as this one." What he fails to take into account, however, is that no war effort, with the possible exception of Vietnam, has sustained so much internal sabotage (in the form of propaganda) in history. The Bush administration has probably made just as good a case for this war effort as has any president previous, but it is no longer enough to do just that in the face of all the internal anti-US sabotage being attempted by the US and international media. We are at war, not just with Islamic crazies, but with the Leftist forces in the West who would love to see them win.

Right. How quickly they forget.

The best way to end war and ensure peace is to kill the enemy.

"the first documentary ever ..." Dude... it aint not documentary... unless of course you wish to change the meaning of documentary. Ever notice that liberals have to change reality to fit their view of the world?

But I also have to acknowledge the aplomb of his campaign, and the cunning of his strategy....But who can blame Michael Moore for seizing his chance?

And who can blame Hitler? Talk about masterful manipulation of idiot sub-sects. And also, who can blame Chamberlain? Smarmy and effete, intellectualistist Brits sure didn't...until Poland. So clink your cocktail glasses together, flare thy elitist nostrils, and smirk at the idiocy of straightforward Churchillian confrontation of aggression. For thou art Schmucks...once again.

All Moore is doing is miseducating a lot of foreigners who we will eventually need to kill in self defense.

And it's all Moore's fault!

The man is a lunatic.

Well - the $64B questions is - is this a preaching-to-the-choir phenomenon or is the success of the film indicative of people being attracted to (and converted by) this fanatically anti-Bush hysteria?  I tend to think it is the former and the visible expression of their gross hatred for Bush may actually activate segments of the Republican vote and perhaps conservative Democrats who will show up just to support Bush in a snapback effect - triggered by the foaming at the mouth crazies. Call it a "Wellstone Funeral Effect"...call it a plain bagel, I think it may be real.

"In the process, he has done much to nurture the delusion that the war is simply the folly of a deranged President and his greedy acolytes, rather than a deeply-rooted global crisis and the defining challenge of our time. At precisely the moment that the horizons of Western electorates should be broadening, they are narrowing dangerously. The debate has grown perilously introspective: on both sides of the Atlantic, the war on terror is in danger of becoming just another sub-category of domestic politics.

These are the things that can keep you up at night. Sometimes I wish I lived in the fantasy world of the left, just so I could sleep better at night. Ah, that's it, vote Bush out and most of this nastiness will go away. More and more people seem to be moving into a state of pure delusion. I keep asking myself, "Do people really believe if they get rid of Bush (Blair etc.), Islamic terror will go away?" It seems so - Europe definitly seems to be deluded in this way and more and more Americans seem to be convincing themselves it's all W's fault and they can take care of this terror problem in the November elections. No wonder Moore's propaganda film has become so popular. Its a world of pure fantasy.

You just wonder how many people in the States will get to see it, since they live in a country under censorship.

This is what most Europeans actually believe. In every country in Europe you can go to jail for printing or saying anything politically incorrect, but these idiots have the nerve to go on about "McCarthyism".

Moore is the most powerful spokesman of the myth that gripped the Spanish people when they elected Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero as their Prime Minister in the wake of the Madrid bombing: namely, that if we oust specific politicians from office - replace Bush with Kerry, Blair with Brown - the Islamic fundamentalists will leave us alone. . . . But it is also a fantasy.

Of course it's fantasy. The cause of Muslim terrorism (and crime) in the West is the self-loathing racism the leftist elite and their "conservative" collaborators have for their own people and nations. Changing governments won't stop Islamic terrorism because no politician or party, Democrat or Republican, Tory or Labourite, will stop the invasion that is its root enabler if not cause.
