Freeper Help Needed: What Group is Running the Ad that has the 9/11 Tower Explosion?
Rush Limbaugh Show (kinda) | 7/2/04 | LS

Posted on 07/02/2004 5:02:14 PM PDT by LS

Freepers, either today or yesterday Rush mentioned there is a group, which he did not name, running a pro-Bush 9/11 ad that shows at least one plane crashing into the tower. Does anyone know who the group is and where I can donate?

Rush didn't elaborate further except to say the Dems were, naturally, in a tizzy.

Republican Candidate's Ads Link Governor, 9/11 Attacks

POSTED: 7:21 pm EDT June 25, 2004

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Fern Shubert is running ads that link incumbent Mike Easley to the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

From http://www.wral.com/politics/3462377/detail.html

In an advertisement the state senator has placed on cable TV stations, footage of airliners slamming into the World Trade Center is joined with a voiceover by the father of a man who died in the attacks.

In it, Peter Gadiel says Easley signed a law that made it easier for terrorists, illegal aliens and drunk drivers to get driver's licenses.

The 2001 budget bill Easley signed included language that allowed drivers license applicants to use a taxpayer identification number in lieu of a Social Security number on their application.

Shubert has been critical of illegal immigration for years and has complained that North Carolina's driver licensing program is lax.

Easley's campaign manager called the ad "shameful" and pointed out that most of the terrorists entered the country legally on student visas.

Oh, and Easley's campaign manager should be reminded that most of the 9/11 terrorists also arrived legally on student visas -- then either overstayed them or ignored the "student" part, and vanished into the forest.

Check pfavoterfund.com. It's the site where you can donate to Progress for America and also view the pro-Bush ad. I donated yesterday.

The ads for this movie are aggravating. If you don't really understand what the movie is about, the ads make is seem like a conservative, patriotic movie. (Man holding sign saying "God Help Us", etc.)

The ad campaign is delibrately designed to draw patriotic Americans into a propaganda piece, and confuse them.

Could be the Club for Growth, which is running an ad starting with Kerry testifying to the Senate in his shaggy fatugues back in 1971, then cuts to Reagan at the Berlin wall and to Bush at the 911 site (although it doesn't actually show the planes crashing) to demonstrate true leadership - you can view the ad at their website "ClubforGrowth.Org" - it's a good one.....

Sorry, I posted to the wrong article. I meant to post to a F9/11 movie article.

No, this is not an ad for Moore's movie: Rush alluded to an ad from a CONSERVATIVE group backing Bush showing the planes.
