It was an Atkins Diet junkie on a low-carb overdose...

Might not be that far off on your diagnosis....

Everyone be sure to thank Gov. Selbius for vetoing the CCW bill a few months ago.

Once again, a violent crime is committed in a "gun free" zone, where only the victims are disarmed.

OK ... I've read to #45 and no ID for the shooter.

Here's my take ... The black guy is Muslim. Just like john Muhamad of Lee Malvo infamy.

It's not KC that can't/ won't release this info ... it's the F****in' socialist media ho's that have had their knee-pads fumbled with while servicing michael moore.

I could be wrong, but I have a hunch here.

Absolutely incredible.

ANYWHERE ELSE some guy killing 5 people in an office gets mainstream media attention....heck, the evening news would cover it on all the big networks. It was ignored here, though Fox News did have it on its website at least.

Frankly, Marlon Brando should not be the big story. Who gives a crap?

If Bush wouldn't have wrecked the economy and forced this poor man out into the streets, he'd have not had a reason to make this nightmare happen after the killer gun talked him into it...... damn BUSH!

No, no. You've got it all wrong.

The guy didn't kill while he was unemployed. No, he went postal after he went back to work. So it is obviously the Bush economic recovery which is putting people back to work which caused this serial murder.

Tomorrow's headlines: "Bush's rising employment numbers will kill you!

Considering the insane lie of MOO's movie is being digested and believed by these people, that really wouldn't suprise me...

re: Brando

Our young conservative prof. made an observation I had never really thought about...media is driven by people aged 40-60( people in the height of their careers and professions).
The elites live in NY, LA and DC.
They make the editorial decisions, and the things they care about are the "public agenda". (For old hippies recalling their youth and urban media "elites", Brando means something.)
Given that journalism is currently left oriented, what we see on tv or the press is what aging, elite leftist/liberals from the 60's and 70's care about.
The most liberal/left oriented 1% of the population is setting the agenda.

This depressed me, but then he offered a counter point

Media is shifting right, (witness Fox, Talk Radio, etc.) A new generation has grown up on conservative media.
Couple this conservative tilt with the kids of the Reagan era entering their careers during a boom in media and we will see a very interesting phenomenon from 2010-2030.

The editors and directors today started out with Kennedy, McGovern, etc.
The next wave will be Reaganites, and various flavors of conservatives.
Certainly Schools of Journalism will retain their liberal bias, but suprise!, the explosion of media has made traditional routes to media jobs irrelevant.

Within the next decade we will likely see political shows with a token liberal instead of the token conservative.....hehe

I don't know if he is right, but he sure irritates the %$#& outta the hippie PhD's on campus within observations like these.

Gun Control Season is officially open.

Expect lots more "mad dog" shooting sprees between now and November, and most armed with "assault weapons". It happens every time significant gun control legislation is pending.

If the M.O. holds, few or none of the shooters will survive to face questioning or psychiatric evaluation. Those who do will be crazier than outhouse rats, incessantly spout absurd right-wing conspiracy gibberish (or remain disturbingly silent) and will likely die suddenly in confinement (clever forms of suicide, typically), typically before trial.

Of course there's a chance history won't repeat itself again, but the pattern is already established, and there's no shortage of suggestible schizophrenics running around in our society.

Last week, some knuckledragging waste of skin shot 6 people during the Detroit fireworks show. None died. This was the entire newscast on every channel at 11pm. Repeat, full newscast. No Sports, No weather, No lifestyle junk. The entire thing. THey even went as far as to name one of the victims before anyone notified the family. He should have dies, except that one of the reserve cops right at the scene was a trauma doc.

Fast forward one week. Some other knuckledragging waste of skin shoots 6 people in a house. 3 die. It's the fifth story that night on the news, at 11:07pm. For the record, I think all shooter and all victims were black, so it's not some sort of racial thing.

I noticed that seeming trend, too. Has anyone investigated the correlation between introducing gun control legislation and subsequent outbreaks of firearm violence, or is it just that temperatures were high there today? Is there a full moon?
