It is also possible that some sort of protective naval operation using underwater sound spectrums(echolocation) is disrupting the migration.

Since I do rocks, not marine biology, I would speculate that the Orcas have found better eating enroute and are in no hurry.

My take on it is that Hamza made the slave statement. If I'm wrong, that inverts my interpretation to be "too late, y'all gonna get some too".

Is there a pattern with Hadith statements? Is there a record somewhere of such statements prior to attacks? I'd dearly love to get my hands on that type of communication. Since I don't know arabic from shinola, I wouldn't know where to start.

>>is this the same as a dark ages tire slashing incident

>>with dancing girls, liquor, etc..what a party animal

::clears throat...grabs acoustic...breaks into political incorrect song:::

Let me tell you 'bout Ahab The Arab
The Sheik of the burning sand
He had emeralds and rubies just dripping off 'a him
And a ring on every finger of his hands

He wore a big ol' turban wrapped around his head
And a scimitar by his side
And every evening about midnight
He'd jump on his camel named Clyde...and ride

::Spoken::

Silently through the night to the sultan's tent where he would secretly meet up with Fatima of the Seven Veils, swingingest grade "A" number one U.S. choice dancer in the Sultan's whole harem, 'cause, heh, him and her had a thing going. You know, and they'd been carrying on for some time now behind the Sultan's back and you could hear him talk to his camel as he rode out across the dunes, his voice would cut through the still night desert air and he'd say (imitate Arabian speech) which is arabic for, "stop, Clyde!" and Clyde would say, (imitate camel voice). Which is camel for, "What the heck did he say anyway?"
Well....

He brought that camel to a screeching halt
At the rear of Fatima's tent jumped off Clyde,
Snuck around the corner and into the tent he went
There he saw Fatima laying on a Zebra skin rug
Wearing rings on her fingers and bells on her toes
And a bone in her nose ho, ho.
Spoken

There she was friends lying there in all her radiant beauty. Eating on a raisin, grape, apricot, pomegranate, bowl of chitterlings, two bananas, three Hershey bars, sipping on a "R C" Co-Cola listening to her transistor, watching the Grand Ole Opry on the tube reading the Mad magazine while she sung, "Does your chewing gum lose it's flavor?" and Ahab walked up to her and he said, (imitate Arabian speech) which is arabic for, "Let's twist again like we did last summer, baby." (laughter) You know what I mean! Whew! She looked up at him from off the rug, give him one of the sly looks, she said, (coy, girlish laugh) "Crazy baby".
'Round and around and around and around...etc.

And that's the story 'bout Ahab the Arab
The Sheik of the Burnin' sand
Ahab the Arab
The swinging Sheik of the burnin' sand

You're probably right...I never could comprehend the thought processes of the ME mind. Very different logics and thought processes involved.

Its still a "ghetto fab" story...complete with a babies- mama-drama type ending..

I agree and concur with this 100%

"there should be no discussions of any focus upon, or targeting of, specific individuals or groups, IMHO. "

Now we diverge. At the beginning of each thread it is marked that the TM is a politically incorrect zone. We have not been attacked at this point by anybody but Middle Eastern Islamofascists. we all agree that in order to perform the analytical functions that we MUST perform, certain assumptions along this line must be made. The FBI has published a list of terrorists for BOLO purposes. All of these are Islamofascists. I am not suggesting we target "Omar-the-Tent-Maker" for surveillance unless Omar is seen upwind of the county fair with a propane tank and a gas mask. But TM must be a politically incorrect no spin zone to function properly. I think all here will agree.

TMI*...I was taking a course in radiation physics in Philly when it had a partial meltdown...my prof was one of the geeks measuring radiation levels. TMI is 10 miles SE of Harrisburg Int'l Airport (and I'm sure they've got things pretty stringent there right now.)

*It use to be a popular site for marriage proposals for those in certain fields;)

The following post, made today, was lifted from TB2K and is being posted here with the poster's knowledge and permission. She did asked that I not disclose her location, so I will respect that:

"On tuesday there was a knock on my door and when I answered it there was an empoyee of the county government taking a survey of how many animals I had. When asked why, she replyed that FEMA and Emergency Management at the county level have instructed them to see who has animals in case there is some sort of a disaster and farmers/animal owners can't get food to their animals. After much questioning she admitted that they had just had a meeting discussing shelters (for people) and the fact that people won't use the shelters if they must leave their animals behind. They are contacting shelters to see if they are willing to help house abandoned animals. The main topic was a terrorist attack.

Now this doesn't sound so big deal because the government is sending messages to everyone and the news media is also constantly bringing it to the public's attention...in a benign sort of way. But we are friends with the Emergency Management coordinator for our county and he is a neighbor. I was instrumental in getting our township prepared for Y2K with his help...and then dismissed as an idiot by him and many others when nothing happened. The entire area is made up of 'don't get its'. The fact that they are now sending people door to door for animals is, to me, a huge dot!

For what it is worth...we are (content edited) and the prevailing winds often come from that direction."

Shortly after this post, there was another poster, on the other side of the country, who claims to have had virtually the same experience.

COAST GUARD SHUTS DOWN LOCAL CASINO SHIP

By First Coast News Staff

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Mayport based La Cruise casino ship has been temporarily shut down.

The Coast Guard is keeping the ship docked because it is not in compliance with the new guidelines mandated by the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002.

The Coast Guard says La Cruise did not have a security plan. A commercial ship is also not in compliance with the new rules, but the Coast Guard would not identify the ship.

The new homeland security rules went into effect July 1. They include stepped up inspections at U.S. ports. Authorities can check the security of ships before the vessels enter ports, and deny access to those not in compliance.

This story is troubling -- especially coming on the heels of the story ont the ME fishermen conducting surveillance of the Yankee nuke plant.

There may be a somewhat fine legal line between general observation and surveillance of law-abiding citizens. What we are looking for are patterns of activity, unusual activity, which can be seen from public areas.

Everything that I've read here fall into that catagory. If you are concerned about some TM'ers observations that certain ME related establishments and activities have an apparent change in behavior, lets review recent history. There appears that some within the ME community here in US were aware of the 911 attacks. AQ and other terrorists have been warning ME to modify their activities due to impending terrorist strikes. I think it is perfectly alright to monitor those activities 'public' appearance. I don't think any here are going around setting up wiretaps, secret cameras, etc. We can monitor anyone as long as we want as long, that is not a criminal act.

Casinos — Criminal networks launder an estimated $1 trillion a year, and the casino industry is a growing target. The rise of legalized gambling and the high cash volume associated with gaming have increased the casino industry's vulnerability to this type of criminal activity.
