SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 2 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Two national women's political action groups today endorsed Senator Hillary Clinton (news - web sites) as the vice presidential nominee to run with Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites). American Women Presidents and Ms. President PAC say Sen. Clinton adds excitement and experience to the Democratic ticket that no other candidate could offer.
"We enthusiastically endorse Senator Clinton to be Kerry's vice president," said Mosemarie Boyd, spokeswoman for American Women Presidents and Ms. President PAC. "With Hillary on the ticket, John Kerry will win the presidency.
"Senator Hillary Clinton offers the American electorate a reason to get energized about this year's election," said Boyd. "She's not just another dark-suited politician with a high yawn quotient. Senator Clinton is eminently qualified for the position and Senator Kerry's presidential campaign can only be boosted by including Clinton on the party's ticket.
"It has been 20 years since this country has included a woman to run on a presidential ticket. Powerful women have commanded great nations throughout history, yet the United States has been unable to field a female nominee since Geraldine Ferraro ran for vice president in 1984," Boyd said.
The charismatic former First Lady, U.S. Sen. Clinton would increase Kerry's fundraising and add an internationally respected leader to the Democratic ticket. Her influence would contribute to restoring international alliances and add weight to efforts to reassess the preemption doctrine, reduce the threat of terrorism through diplomacy, and increase the readiness of U.S. forces.
American Women Presidents and Ms. President PAC are dedicated to electing women to the U.S. presidency and vice presidency. The two groups helped launch Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun (news - web sites)'s presidential candidacy on President's Day weekend in 2003. On July 4, 2000, American Women Presidents endorsed both Republican Elizabeth Dole (news - web sites) and Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein as VP nominees. It also made financial contributions to the campaigns of Democratic and Republican women running for governorships and the U.S. Senate in 2000 and 2002.
Now there's a ringing endorsement of political success [/sarcasm]
"Charismatic" is the way Sen. Clinton is now described? Yes? Ugh.
No soup for you! Next!
Mosemarie?
I hope these groups are enraged when he does not pick HRC.
They're priming the way for Hillary's coronation.
No doubt, it sounds like Kerry will pick Hillary next Tuesday.
"We will have to take some things from you"
Like Nazis, Fascists, Socialists and Communists say.
Lord have mercy on us all.
The most effective ad Bush/Cheney could run would be her words in her woice showing her to be the socialist she is. It would run chills up peoples spines.
Any recommendation from Dykes on Bikes ?
If Ketchup boy picks her, it won't hurt President Bush.
If the democrats had run a strong candidate, they would've had a good chance. But, in this post 9.11 world, they choose of all people the creepy Kerry whose patriotism is being questioned and who is confused on issues, not to mention him throwing his medals, etc.
As for Hillary -- the idea of Clintons and their scandals back in the White House is frightening. They killed thousands of Serbian women and children; called our military trained pigs; entertained the likes of Monica in the Oval Office; pardoned among others Marc Rich and a pedophile; are continuing their endless pathological lying; etc.
.
.."IS it SAFE?" = President HILLARY..

Of course she's not. She's evil incarnate in a black pantsuit.
If Kerry chooses Hitlery as his running mate, he'd better beef up his personal security and increase his life insurance.
In other words, France, North Korea, Iran, and Cuba would be impressed with Hitlery as VP.
