MARLON BRANDO HAS DIED (Fox News Alert- Lawyer confirms death)

[Note: While it took a while to find confirmation, Fox News says Brando's lawyer has confirmed. LM]

(CBS 5 News)--The man called the greatest actor of all time has died.

CBS 5 News has learned Marlon Brando passed away Thursday in Los Angeles.

Brando may be best known for his roles in "The Godfather" and "On the Waterfront". He won oscars for his work in those 2 films.

The cause of death is still unknown.

Foxnews.com has "Breaking" banner now. Why did this take so long to get out?

They probably had to locate a spokesman and the family to make a statement aboht his death.

ABC Says that they have a report that he's dead but the family and spokespeople will not confirm so they will not report the story.

Can't somebody just get that Verizon guy to call him up and ask him if he's still alive then get Baghdad Bob to give an official announcement either way? Why is this so difficult? Can we get a California Freeper to drive over to his house? (Yes, the small house he lives in in the midst of the mansions in the hills, the one where he is hiding the oscars...)
