Today in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, President Bush attended the swearing in ceremony of the new representative of the United States to the United Nations, Senator John Danforth. Later in the East Room of the White House, he addressed those attending a reception commemorating the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights bill into law in 1964.

Hubby and I also plan to make a BIRTHDAY contribution of $58 to the Bush-Cheney campaign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great idea. I had a check ready to go out to B/C '04, but the mailman hasn't come yet, so I opened it back up, and put in a new check for $58. Happy Birthday, Mr. President. !!

We just sat there beaming (well, and praying too!) as he responded to her.
He made a BIG impression on others there to, to be so articulate and calm in the face of a verbal attack.
God has given us a great gift in each of our children!

The bottom line is, The truth will always prevail. You can run from it, you can hide from it, or you can ignore it.... but it always there and it always wins in the end. The truth is on George W. Bush's side and he will win big :-)YEA!!!! Standing up and cheering at your rant, Mike!!
....though it's rather hard to type this way.........

WOW! I LOVE those character question responses!
I heard some Dem pontificating that Bush's approval ratings were perilously low and well below those of the Presidents who had been reelected.
ONE percent??? LOL!
I'm working like I'm worried, but I'm not. :o)

Loved your story about Eric giving that woman what for. My computer went down last night (verizon - argghh), I almost got the shakes!! LOL
Hamid Karzai (sp?) will be awarded the Liberty Medal in Philadelphia on Sunday, July 4th. Rumor is that our W will be coming to the event. Woo Hoo, I'm hoping to get there to show him some support before I go to the Phillies game. I'm also thinking of putting up my Bush/Cheney sign on one of the overpasses on his route into Center City from the airport.

I would have your friend ask her co-workers if they fawn over rebrobates in real life, or only in politics.
I mean, do they go down to the jail, and find smooth talking sex offenders to admire??
Sheesh!! People can be SO dumb!

I'm still hoping for a new "kissing" picture during this campaign.
Did you see that they're going to be on the cover of the Ladies Home Journal that comes out July 13th? The "other" "couple" will be on the cover of some of them, so sounds like we'll have some magazine hiding to do . . .
did you also see there's a whole BOOK of photos of four generations of the Bush family coming out this month??

Well, Congrats!
I'm an Indians' fan (well, latent right now), and know what's going on in the AL better than the NL.

We live in Zinfandel country but are going to the Napa wine country for our anniversary. We don't really drink (rare glass of wine) but the area is so beautiful and there are the most amazing plant nurseries there (we're big gardeners) as well as Culinary Institute of the Arts.
Very romantic...we'll be celebrating our 16th anniversary. We've known each other for 34 years..since we were 12. Remet at our 10 year reunion and married 2 years later. :o)
I didn't even think of the flightsuit until you brought it up, ohio. hehe...
