Today in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, President Bush attended the swearing in ceremony of the new representative of the United States to the United Nations, Senator John Danforth. Later in the East Room of the White House, he addressed those attending a reception commemorating the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights bill into law in 1964.

Hi, OWF....and thanks for the pics...wonderful shot of Dubya and Laura.
....posting pic (of W and Laura)just because I like it...
I like it too! Thanks, Ohio, for today's post and for adding the wonderful picture of our wonderful First Couple!
Hey there, Mike. Long time no type. :o)
Michael Moore was here in San Diego the other day
visiting his sister and family who lives in La Jolla.
Most of us could not afford to live in this area of
San Diego. Homes are in the multi millions.
Another Rich Democrat.
And others around here seem to agree. :o)
Hi Mike...saw your post last night that your ex-Marine s/i/l may get re-activated....I bet he wants to go.
He's not rich, he's just your average joe....(sarcasm)
I know.... I've been very busy lately, but I feel a rant coming on :-)
I can believe that! :O)
(If I don't reply for a while, don't worry. I've been kinda busy too, but I'll get back to you. :o)
I just spoke to him 10 minutes ago, he and my daughter are in California on vacation, and I have been picking up their mail while they are gone, the first thing he asked was..... "DID I GET ANYTHING FROM THE MARINE CORPS?" I said no, and I could tell he was disappointed.
Yes. an average joe who doesn't bathe or brush his hair. Ugh.
I hope he gets what he wants...your daughter is lucky to have you.......is your rant about Michael Moore?...
I thought you posted it because:
YOU COULD!
I met another Peach last nite and thought of you.
This Peach was a 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy... the most adorable fluff ball.
Bubba would NOT let her alone, he was fascinated.
Re Eric's calm, logical response to the lefty-
This just makes us even MORE proud of him. God bless him. You and Mr. Ohio have sure done a great job and set a great example to have raised a such a wonderful child.
We used to have a golden retriever...they are such loves.
Making Waves
By Michael Reagan
Thomas Nelson, 1996
In Making Waves, Reagan is at his hard-hitting best as he brings his well-researched commentary to the issues and challenges facing our country. A sampling of what's inside: The questions the press never bothered to ask about the mysterious death of White House lawyer Vincent Foster; the unpublicized plan to assemble a committee to revise the Constitution (and why; it's a dangerous proposition); how liberals benefitted from Ronald Reagan's economic policies, even as they publicly bashed them; and the difficult decision to share Ronald Reagan's diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease with the public. Making Waves is part primer on what conservatives believe, part wake-up call, and part family album. And it's completely Mike Reagan - colorful, compelling, and unapologetic.
As we all know, the media loves to report all the doom and gloom they can find, no matter the validity of the story or the factual content. But don't despair, the facts are coming out and the liars are being exposed.
Take a look at this well coordinated media blitz against our President. Back in the fall of 2003 the books started coming out, most of which are being promoted by the media conglomerate VIACOM, who owns the publishing company, and CBS. CBS's "60 Minutes" has gone out of their way to promote every anti Bush screed that has been published.
Now that we have the Film industry involved in the Bush bashing, most would think President Bush couldn't withstand the relentless attacks on his character, BUT that's where the big mistake is being made. Movies like Michael Moore's is not only an attack on our President, it's an attack on our Country, and this is backfiring.
The little reported remarks made by known anti-Americans like Jim McDermott or Scott Ritter, but statements like the Michael Moore propaganda movie and many democrats endorsing it is gonna hurt the Democrats badly. When the head of the DNC, Terri McAuliffe, Senate Minority leader Tom Daschle, House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi, and assorted other high profile democrats are on the short list of people to view the premier of such an ugly movie like "Fahrenheit 9/11" things are not looking up for the democrats. The path to leadership in this country is not through the gutter.
I said a few weeks ago that President Bush will bounce back into the lead and never look back, and so far that's whats happening. The facts are on his side and even the liberal press can't ignore them forever. The 9/11 report that the liberals thought would crucify President Bush is turning out to praise his leadership. just this week it was revealed that the 9/11 Commission has determined that the Bush Administration has done great harm to Al-Qaeda. The Iraq situation is advancing for the good with every day that passes. Tonight Jordan has offered to send troops into Iraq, NATO has agreed to train Iraqi's, Saddam is about to face justice and in the process, the WHOLE world will see why we had to come to the rescue.
In the next few months President Bush and his team will be vindicated, and the troops who carried out his orders will get the long due recognition they deserve. Meanwhile the Democrats will have once again "Misunderestimated" this President and once again the bell will toll on election day, and the democrats will be crushed again. The problem the democrats have is they keep forgetting their Americans first, and politicians second. The Bush team will make it very clear what the democrats priorities are, and what his are.
The bottom line is, The truth will always prevail. You can run from it, you can hide from it, or you can ignore it.... but it always there and it always wins in the end. The truth is on George W. Bush's side and he will win big :-)
Thanks for the Dose.
And you've probably left - as I am now.
Night Night.
