On behalf of all of us, 'You're welcome.' (Thank you ad from Iraqis)

The Iraq-America Freedom Alliance placed a full page ad in USA Today this morning, as a thank you to the United States for the sacrafices we have made to bring freedom to the streets and homes and lives of Iraq.
The sacrafices your sons and daughters made for our liberation will never be forgotten. Without those brave young men and women, this day might never have come.
Of course you won't hear about it in the mainstream media. It doesn't fit into their collective agenda of dragging down George W. Bush and his Administration. It doesn't fit into their agenda of belittling the fighting men and women who are working day in and day out to ensure that freedom, now planted, can take solid root.
But on behalf of the rest of us -- those of us who understand and believe in what our forces are doing there, I deliver a humble "You're welcome."

Looking at your tag line, I thought I heard that in 30 years he has not introduced a single bill. Is that correct?

Double check that it's definitely in today's paper - it's possible that it may be in tomorrow's (or even yesterday's) instead.j But I think that is a fantastic idea!

None that I've heard of. In fact, in one of his political ads, he touts his Viet Nam record, his prosecutorial service (that had to be short) and his casting the deciding vote for Clinton's Economics Package (Jobs Creation) bill (1993).
Just one problem: The Jobs bill WAS held up by a Senator who wanted certain perks. He refused to vote until he got his perk. Then he cast the deciding vote and the bill passed. Trouble is, it was Bob KerrEy who held up the vote and eventually did cast the deciding vote; not John Kerry. Jacquestrap must have forgotten that he isn't Bob.

I noticed one of the sponsors was the American Islamic Congress. Where is CAIR? Maybe CAIR misses Saddam.

Thanks for the ping, LadyX.
And thank you Michael. Saw you on Fox the other night.
We have a large Assyrian Community in this area. They operate a very small television station here (KBSV Channel 23) and target the Assyrian audience. A lot of their programming is fed via satellite to the Middle East to counter the propaganda from the Arab stations.
This evening they are presenting a program titled "Voices of Freedom." Freedom, the country and politics with be the theme tonight. First guest will be Staff SGT. Brian Jilson, who recently completed a 13-month tour of duty in Iraq.
Also tonight, The Modesto Band of Stanislaus County is celebrating Independence Day with a theme "Wave the Flag" at a free concert in the park.
If you subtract Condit and Peterson, this ain't a bad place to live. :)

If you recall the media tried to give FL to Gore.
ABC CBS CNN FOX and NBC all own 20 per cent of VNS.
All 5 of them "announced" Gore had won BEFORE the 2nd time zone in FL had closed.
I was at a friends house and the State of FL election results showed President Bush was winning
WHILE the big 5 media "announced their" winner.
The big 5 media is the real threat.

Thank you for posting this. I've already been pushing back tears from listening to Col. North, filling in for Sean Hannity, who has been reading accounts of our Founding Fathers' struggles to maintain their sacred pledge. We are so very blessed!
I saw you the other night on Hannity & Colmes and was very impressed. Keep up the great work!
