"Should we have opposed welfare reform just because Clinton signed it?"

I don't see the comparison. I didn't tell people not to watch it. I only said I probably wouldn't unless it comes out on TV (the Disney Channel). I don't see Eisner changing his spots. Just changing his costume and role to bring back the audiences.

Transparent PR ploy to get the flag wavin' Neanderthals back into the fold or not, it's a small step in the right direction. By all means, pay to watch it if you want. I never said not to.

Hey Ivan, get this:

The FIRST 'documentary' the Red Chinese allow into their country is Michael Moore...

Taken from Drudge just now

A further study would have shown that after Disney catered to the 30% for so long, that now the other 70% hate Disney, in particular, Eisner. They won't pay a cent to help him out of the hole he's dug. It may even take a while for them to warm back up to Disney after he's gone.Reaping what they sowed BUMP!

Amen.

Clinton's dallying with Moanica "Because I Could" mentality is rampant in all aspects of liberalism and displays the dangers having liberals in positions of power in govt, media, academia, and/or anywhere they can influence children.

Liberals in power are little tin gods who dictate to the rest of how what to think and what we can or cannot believe. Liberals moral relativity recognizes no higher authority than themselves.

Explains libs paranoia about manifestations of religion, and their quixotic quest to remove all traces of religion from public life. Religion sets parameters for human behavior. Severaly cramps the libs lifestyle.

Lib-haters showed their true colors when Mel Gibson's film debuted (then went on to fantastic success despite the libs attempts to derail it).

Now Disney/Eisner wants to capitalize on it.

Clearly, religion is liberals Achilles heel. Like holding a cross before a vampire.......they just go all to pieces (snicker).

The narration at the end, about what these guys acheived after that game, and hearing that the coach died before the movie was completed really got to my wife and I.

Absolutely. I saw it in the theater with my son, and we both loved it. Bought the DVD, chatted it up in line at Target, and the ending narration produced more lumpy throats and leaky eyes. Just beautiful.

Disney corp and Eisner got scared this summer when Disney nephew tried to wrest control out of Eisners hands.

Their numbers have been plummeting for a few years now. Between the revisionist history movies, the outright anti-american products and gay week at Disneyland they were hemorrhaging profits.

I guess they decided that the culturally depraved couldn't make them profits so they have thrown a bone to the family types trying to boost the next quarters profits.

Go see the movie if you want. It is going to take a track record of more than 1 for me to patronize this company with my hard earned dollars again.

If it is actually worth the effort of switching stations, I'll catch it for cable rates on the tube.

It is definitely DVD-worthy, but not worthy of a 4-hour drive with these gas prices.

IFC films.

Which in the case of Michael Moore's insufferable piece of propaganda, obviously stands for "It's F*&^ing Cr@p" Films...

(Some of these write themselves, I swear...)

"Miracle" is an excellent movie. I went with a friend who hates sports, but her husband and I drug her to see it and she thought it was fabulous.
