I'd miss the pizza, the mozzarella, the bagels and the beaches.
Besides, I like yelling at my radio in traffic.

Hillary's made her intentions quite clear, so if she runs, and they elect her, and she taxes them at the pre-Kennedy era rates (around 78% at the top level, IIRC), they should not complain. If that happens the US economy is FINISHED. The result will be the destruction of the middle class and the gulf between rich and poor will be as wide as the oceans.
To: joesnuffy
There has been one subject that Hillry has been completely silent upon and that is the "sex" agenda of the rabid left.
Hillry knows full well that she cannot get elected if she comes out of the closet, so she will have to stay stealth in that department until her friends on the benches make it the law of the land.
Hillry is the "goddess of sex" under the Cult of Clintonism.

That was the not so famous remark Bubba made about lower taxes being a good thing in theory, but those middle class people wouldn't spend it in the right way.

Tell Ben Afleck that he had better give Willie Nelson a call. You never know when times get hard, and he will be begging for the 1.5 million back.

I'm glad to see at least some media calling this what it is: Marxist.
That's not hyperbole, that's not slander, it's not hysteria. That sentiment is the very foundation and guiding principle of Marxism. It is the political philosophy of Josef Stalin, Pol Pot, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, and the Bolsheviks.
Is this real enough for you yet, America?

I never looked back after the beach tag phenomenon and the "Perfect Together, NJ and you" campaign by Keane.
I do miss the Boardwalk, Cape May beaches and Salt Water fishing. I think the bluefish runs kept the freezer stocked for a full year.

Academy Award winner Ben Affleck told the audience he was supporting Kerry because he saved $1.5 million on his federal income taxes last year, "thanks" to President Bush's tax cut. There's nothing in the law that prevents him from writing a check and donating to the U.S. Treasury.

That's exactly right. Agree or disagree Mr. Lunchpail, "From each according to his ability to each according to his needs." Heck, most recent grads probably think this comes directly from the US Constitution.

I can attest personally the mind of recent grads. My oldest a recent grad, has not one clue how much of his first paycheck he will never see, seems to believe that raising the price of "gas" could be use as a method to force "oil" companies to research alternative fuels and force auto manufactures to make energy efficient vehicles.
Fortunately for him we were in a restaurant and I was required to contain myself. I then had the opportunity to calm myself so I could approach the topic with a calm still voice.
The irony is that this "child" loves cars, and plans to spend every possible dollar he makes on them, and if paying a higher price at the pump will force these two things then all the better.
I call it arrogance, elitist, and just plain ignorance. Considering how much his friends complain about the control their parents "execute" over them.
That is exactly how I approached him with my conversation about his problem solving.
