My heart is steadfast, O God;
I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations;
I will sing of You among the peoples.

Dearest Heavenly Father, how we praise You tonight that Your are Lord of all nations! We sing Your praises and make music with our souls because our hearts have been changed by Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask You tonight to work among the nations, and the peoples; especially the people of the newly sovereign Iraq. We ask that You work among them as they struggle to nurture their fledgling democracy, and we recognize that the people of Iraq are loved by You, and that You have planted within them a desire for You. We pray that Your word and Your truth would flourish in the new found freedom of the country of Iraq. We thank You for the work of Paul Bremer there, and ask that You would bless him and guide him as he moves on to other service.

Father tonight, we pray especially for our President, George W. Bush, thanking You for Your protection over him as he traveled to Turkey, and asking for Your continued hedge around him, so that he might fulfill all the duties to which You have called him. We ask that You might bless his life, and speak to him daily, granting him the wisdom he seeks in doing Your will for this nation. We ask that You might enrich his time alone with You, and keep him deep in Your word and in prayer.

We pray especially for Laura as well, dear Lord, and ask also for protection for her as she travels during this campaign. We thank You for her lovely spirit, and the joy and peace that she exhibits, and ask that You might guide her steps, and help her to be the Godly wife that You want her to be. We thank You for the example their marriage is to this country, and ask that You bless their relationship and deepen in through Christ as they serve You together.

Dear Father, we continue to pray for our troops, that You would be a presence among them, and would continue to work in their lives. Help those who know You as Lord and Savior to have renewed strength to share the Gospel of Your love to all mankind, wherever they are serving. Place a shield of protection over them, dear Lord, and keep them from the arrows of the enemy. Comfort and heal those who have been injured, and console the families of those who have fallen with the deep peace that can only come through Your love.

And dear Father, we pray as well for our nation, as we approach the fall and this critical election. Lord we plead for the truth to be revealed to the American people. We are so often dismayed, and yes, sometimes worried because of the lies that continue to be spread by the left and a complicit media, and we confess our lack of faith in that worry. Lord, you have told us to be anxious for nothing, so we lay our anxiety at Your feet, asking Your forgiveness for our lack of faith, and putting our trust in You, that Your will might be done in this nation. We confess our sins as individuals, and as a country, dear Lord, and ask that You wash us whiter than snow, and it is in the name of Jesus, whose cleansing blood was shed for our sins that we pray, Amen!

Such a beautiful prayer, OF.

Yes, Dear Lord, we thank you so much for the safety of President Bush and all members of his party as they traveled abroad. We thank you for a loving First Lady as Laura Bush. We ask your continued blessings on them as there are still many difficult decisions to be made.

Heavenly Father, I pray with my sister in Christ tonight as we continue to ask your blessings on the military men and women fighting for this great nation. We pray for the upcoming election that more Americans would feel that President Bush should be reelected.

We ask these blessings in Your Son’s Precious Name, Amen.

Very well done, indeed, Ohio!

Father, those words express the sentiments of so many on this forum. Those who honor Thee in our hearts overwhelmingly support our President, his wife, and the troops in Iraq.

But, Father, in America, there seems to be an equal share of tares as there is wheat -- ungodly folk who are filled with hatred for our President and, by extension, the troopers he has sent to Iraq.

Father, Dr. J. Vernon McGee taught Jeremiah 2 this morning. It was about how a nation that you had bestowed blessings on had turned its back on You -- so much like America's courts, colleges, media, and liberal churches:

5 This is what the LORD says:
"What fault did your fathers find in me,
that they strayed so far from me?
They followed worthless idols
and became worthless themselves.

And the answer to that is that the people of Israel had deserted the Word and failed to regard it as their daily bread.

8.The priests did not ask,
'Where is the LORD ?'
Those who deal with the law did not know me;
the leaders rebelled against me.

So the apostasy in Israel grew and calcified -- much like our priests, pastors, judges, politicians, journalists, celebrities have a calcified disregard of Thee. Much like the days of old, these modern-day priests are spreading their "doctrines of demons" throughout this blessed land,

How we pray that You will deal harshly with them. Has not the Lord Jesus said, "Woe to the ones who cause (the godly) to stumble?"

Father, restore a love for Your Word, restore our Judeo-Christian ethic, and restore us to a place of blessing.

In Christ's name.

Praying in agreement, ohio.

Lord, stay with us during these days of trial and decision. Use our circumstances to engender a national and individual soul search. Bring to light anything not in consonance with Your Truth, and give us the opportunity to make corrections.

Use this political season to bring us closer to You. We ask your protection and guidance upon all godly in authority over us. Be with our troops for sure victory, with the peoples of the nations for the spread of Your Word and the freedom to accept it. In Jesus' name, amen.

Joining you in prayer.

Tell rich and poor in slavery
The King has ordered the decree
Ransom all captivity
Ring the bells of liberty
He sacrificed His everything
To buy us new identities

So every knee could bow
Every tongue confess
That Jesus our Lord is marvelous

So let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
talk about it, say so, talk about it
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
talk about it

Bangladesh to Bangor, Maine
If you're talking about His name
Give Him glory unashamed
(His love is so exciting)
Say it loud or quietly
Nod your head or disagree

But every knee shall bow
Every tongue confess
That Jesus our Lord is marvelous

So let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
talk about it, say so, talk about it
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
talk about it
Talk About It, Nicole C Mullen and Brooke Dozier

Wonderful prayer, Ohio!

O Great God, our Father, Your children adore You! We thank You and praise You with all of our hearts! Our hearts are filled with the Songs of the Righteous! Jesus Christ, our God, is King in our hearts!

O, our King, we crown Thee most holy! Our Lord God, our Christ, we lift high Thy Name! My Precious Redeemer, I can't keep from singing! It pours from my soul; my heart is AFLAME!

O Christ, my Great king! You came here to die! What were we to Thee? Our heads bow in shame! O Spotless, White Lamb! You gave us a pardon! Vile sins forgiven, We lift high Your Name!

We lift high Your Name, Great God! We lift high Your Name! Our Sovereign Redeemer, You've taken our shame! Merciful, Most Holy, We bow down before Thee! We worship our Christ! We're SO GLAD You came!

My King, I join hands with all my brothers and sisters who are here praying for our President; Thank You, O Great God our Savior, for protecting him during his recent trip from the powers of wickedness who seek his destruction! Thank You for giving him a heart that seeks and loves Thee; thank You for every spiritual blessing You have emparted to him, through Christ his Savior! We praise Thee for this servant of Christ, our dear President; and we thank You for the good, godly wife You have given him, and we plead for her continual spiritual sustainance and physical protection from all who would do her harm in word or deed. And we would pray for Jenna and Barbara, that they may be godly young women; please grant them hearts that will value Thee, our Blessed Redeemer, above all else in this life.

Our Precious Holy One, we beg for Thy intervention in the soul of our nation; please stop us, our God, before we go the way of long-gone civilizations, and are judged with Righteous Judgements from the Hand of the Holy One! Please turn our nation back to Thee, our Merciful Master; please send repentance to our once-good people, and grant that America may be the leader in the world in sending out Thy gospel in these last days!

O God, our Sovereign Ruler, You Who rule the world in Righteousness, please enable many of Thy people in the military to deliver the Gospel of Christ to the poor lost people of Iraq, whom You love and pity in Your mercy, O King. We thank Thee for Thy loving protection of our troops; for every soul You've spared by Thy grace. Glory to our Sovereign King! Glory to our Loving Lord Jesus Christ! Thank You for Thy Blessed Spirit in our lives! Thank You for all Thy tender mercies! We praise Thee, and pray in Thy Holy Name, the Name of Christ, amen.
