Nothing here that strikes me as qualification for the Presidency. What's notably absent is any executive experience whatsoever. Based on this resume, he wouldn't be qualified to manage a Burger King restaurant, let alone the executive branch of the US government.

The 30-second ad also describes him as "a combat veteran who has been praised by former chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under both Presidents Reagan and Clinton" and an "author of a strategy to win the war on terror."

An author of "a" strategy (not "the" strategy) to win the war on terror, huh? Sure. Just like Al Gore authored the Internet.

His "record," using the word in its normal sense, is the record of his votes in the Senate. He has the most liberal record of any of the hundred senators presently serving.
