Here are the big dirty little secrets about the election, all guaranteed to be true and (almost) all guaranteed to make every one of our sources angry.

. . .

Hillary is running in '08 and thus will destroy Kerry in '04.

Last I heard, Morris believed Kerry would win.

Congrats President Bush! ;)

If Hyde can get his bill through in time, illegals will have a harder time voting. If the Dems think Kerry is going to win it is because of the illegals, who are millions stronger since the last election.

Here in TN illegals have a hard time getting drivers licenses which would allow them to register to vote as they have to prove citizenship. :-)

The 2002 election in Florida run by Terry was supposed to be a referendum on the 2000 election. They ran McBride as their "hate-Bush" candidate, but he got trounced by 13 points when the results came in. You cannot win on a hate-the-other-guy campaign.

Bush will win in a landslide.

Agree. The national vote numbers may be close because of the large liberal cities, but Kerry won't carry 6 states.

I don't read it that way. I think it's the Democrats who are glum and figure if Bush has suffered the daily body count from Iraq, Abu Gharib, the library-full of "Bush is a Liar" books, the daily attacks on ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/NPR/NYT/Wash Post, and is still at the same point as Kerry, he will pull ahead for a win in November.

Let's not forget McAuliffe's immortal line: Jeb is TOAST.

Kerry is certain to carry Massachusetts, Maine, RI, NY, Connecticut, Vermont, Maryland, Illinois, Hawaii, and California. Bank it.

Bush could win a landslide with 35+ states IMO but the last 10 or so are immovable.

That comment is not cryptic at all. After three months of beating Bush with media brickbats, he is still slightly ahead generally, (1 2 pts...) and the Events of the Day are truning Markedly in his favor.

That comment is bad news for Horseface.

It's all but over allright, after 6 months of media pounding on Bush Kerry can only manage a tie.

I'm glad to hear it. However, the Democrats need only a few million fraudulent votes to take the election. They will be prepared to do so from other areas that allow illegal voting. After Gore's miserable act of getting rid of the votes from the military, the tactics have changed. They don't dare try that now.

Thats right. Her outright call for Marxism is your proof.

"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." Sen.Hillary!ous Clinton, 6/28/04

19. 50-minute speeches to minority groups do not make up for perceived failures in other outreach areas.

Yep, Kerry will not get the Black vote to the polls. That's the final nail in his coffin.

If they say it is in the bag, but it is not clear whose bag it is in, it isn't in the bag.

I keep hearing pundits exclaim that Keryy should have opened a wide lead in the past few month and hasn't.

Exactly. W has taken a consistent and considerable pounding over the past few months and still Kerry manages small leads at best. He should be double digits up but nobody likes him. Kerry is the Mondale and Dole of his time.
