But Republicans are expecting to do better than usual among African American voters this year, voters who simply like Bush more than Kerry for whatever reason. Here's some reasons:
Bush has actually appointed more than one black in high positions in his administration.
Bush has contributed $ for combatting AIDs, instead of just talking about it (Clinton).
Bush believes in faith-based initiatives instead of government handouts.
Bush believes black and ALL children should have education requirements (really have to learn) and not just be passed up a grade.
Just a few off the top of my head.

Please explain to me how spending money on AIDS in a foreign country is a conservative policy ? I mean if you want to be in a generous mood with MY TAXES what about all the other diseases world wide that need curing. I know Bush is a great prez. but we conservatives shouldn't praise his nonconservative policies ( including rolling out the red carpet for ILLEGAL immigration)
