Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-Cuba), speaking at a Democratic party fundraiser in San Francisco yesterday, was remarkably frank about the Democrats' intentions to use socialist redistribution policies if the party gains power after the November elections.
As reported by the Associated Press, Sen. Clinton said, "Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
With her blunt statement, Sen. Clinton has drawn clear the difference between the two major parties: The Marxist Democratic party will "take things away from you on behalf of the common good" while the Republicans will defend your right to spend your money as you see fit because they know it's your money, not the government's.
Remember this during the long slog to the elections this year. The choice is clear: Marxism or freedom. Vote wisely.
we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you..."
Good politics in San Francisco--locks up the SM vote.
If the GOP has anybody watching, we'll hear this sound bite again...and again and again.

Great find, kristinn!
Bigun, you have got to read this!
New motto of the (LIEberal/Socialist/Marxist Bastard) Democrat Party: "FRom each according to their ability, to each according to their need!"
This evil woman is very, very dangerous to American FReedom. And, so is the Democrat Party.
The Democrat Party must be soundly defeated in November if we Americans are to begin to take back our country and win back our unalienable rights!
Please tell me and the rest of us what she said back in 76. Enlightenment is good...

Is McGreevey Robin Hood or the Sheriff of Nottingham?
New tagline ;-).
Headline I'd like to see: McGreevey gets pink slip in NJ. Communist POS gets voted out of office.
Reminds me of Bill Clinton who said, roughly paraphrased but very close: "I'd love to give you a tax cut but you might not spend it in the right way."
The "common good" is used as the stalking horse on both the left and right. Just ask any Drug Warrior.
Graymatter: "Hillary Clinton's on Drudge. She said, 'We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.'"
Kid: "She actually said that, flat out?"
Even a child knows. :)
Thank you, Hillary, for that fabulous sound bite that will follow you 'til the end of time. Reminds us that Hillary and the Federal Government know what is best foir America, and for you and me.
Reminds us to be very scared of this unabashed Socialist who wants your wallet, and will someday want your vote.
It will make great anti-Hillary commercials and go down in history on a par with "I voted fir the $87 million before I voted against it."

Worth a repeat. Good comment.
The "Common Good" is what socialists of her ilk says it is comrade. She knows what is best for you as you are barely qualified to wipe your butt.
I don't think this will be of much use or get much traction, since she was addressing the Democratic rich elite at a fundraiser. And it's my sad belief that the majority of Americans have no problem with "nailing" the "rich". Of course the reality is, they consider anyone around the $100,000 a year income level to be the "rich". So, they can counter with "THE rich" being the context.
It's not that big a leap to substitute guns for "things".....
Or substitute your kids for "things".....
Or substitute your property for "things"
May God help us...hold on to this Republic..!!
FRegards,
It may take a village to raise a child, but it only takes a First Lady and candidate for Senate to stiff a waitress.
While campaigning in Albion, New York recently, Hillary Clinton and her campaign entourage were treated to a free meal at the Village House Restaurant by its owner. After completing a meal reportedly worth $600, Clinton's group left without tipping the waitress -- single mother Trish Trupo who makes all of $5 000 a year, not including tips.
Aside from the jokes of late night comedians, that could have been the end of the story. But 46-year old Peter Kessler of Florida sensed an opportunity to both embarrass Clinton and see that Trupo received what she was entitled to.
Kessler made a comment on FreeRepublic.com that perhaps someone should take up a collection for Trupo. That, with help from media coverage, unleashed a flood of money from across the United States and around the world, one that has resulted inTrupo being "tipped" with up to $1 000.

It's not sHitllarys money, it isn't the elitist commie marxists money, it isn't the welfare con-artists(who refuse to work) money, it isn't the insurance extortionists money, it isn't litigation lawyers money BUT naturally they all assume it is.
