Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-Cuba), speaking at a Democratic party fundraiser in San Francisco yesterday, was remarkably frank about the Democrats' intentions to use socialist redistribution policies if the party gains power after the November elections.
As reported by the Associated Press, Sen. Clinton said, "Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
With her blunt statement, Sen. Clinton has drawn clear the difference between the two major parties: The Marxist Democratic party will "take things away from you on behalf of the common good" while the Republicans will defend your right to spend your money as you see fit because they know it's your money, not the government's.
Remember this during the long slog to the elections this year. The choice is clear: Marxism or freedom. Vote wisely.

I wish the GOP would put this in an ad.
"We're going to take things away from you "
Who is We? Does this mean Clinton and her cronies? And You means the rest of the plebians?
Sadly, it is. How frightening it is on two levels. First, that someone will so openly and publicly make such a threat. Second, that people will vote for this vile bitch.
Hillary and her minons are everywhere! George Soros, Barbra, all of them. God save us all!
Someone should ask John Kerry if he agrees with what Hilliary said.
That thought had occurred to me too. She has openly threatened to confiscate from one group and give it to another. That's it at its base. This type of rhetoric, and these types of people, do indeed cause revolutions. They caused one in Russia and we saw the results. I don't doubt for a second that they can bring one about in this country!
Normally I would agree with you. However, was she booed at this point or applauded?
"...we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you...."
"...We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good..."
She certainly gets bonus points for being so brazen. Really, I mean when someone tells you their going to take away your money from you, because what they need is more power to fill the vast and empty hole in her stomach, what else can you call that except, brazen? Unfortunately, not enough Americans are listening to reason and admire this specimen, who somehow has been thrust into the national consciousness. The above quotes are going to become bumperstickers shortly, especially the last one you can be sure of that.
I will do my own search to get the audio of this, but if you find it first, would you please post a link? I humbly thank you in advance.
Considering where she was speaking, I think she was probably applauded.
ABSOLUTELY! And all Republicans running against all Democrats need to tell them to either publicly support what Hillary said or publicly repudiate it! If they won't repudiate it, bash them unmercifully and accuse them of supporting it!
The hell they will.
Thank you for saying that before I did.
The only difference is that Dems admit that it's not our money right up front.
I'm a Hayek fan, too.
Especially since none of the money was earned in an honest manner. But I digress....that's for another thread.
There is money and there is sex.
The Right thinks individuals need to be coerced in sexual matters, but have absolute freedom in money matters.

Hillary outlines her vision for us...
Another thought: Does she even have a clear, personal definition of the Common Good in her head when she says this kind of stuff???
remind me to tell you sometime what she said to a group of us grad students, when she visited our campus in '76.
her "vision for amerika" has NOT changed! she is a real piece of work, too.
free dixie,sw
I guess it's time to go get fitted for the little green uniforms with the red star, eh?
