22:12 CNN Turk TV: Large explosion heard near Turkish Defense Ministry in Ankara
And the Turks wont do a damn thing about it....damnit
I don't know why you say that. If anything, the Turks have been criticized for being too tough on terrorists.
Our president does not leave there until tomorrow.
Prayers for his safe return.
Where is this, compared to where President Bush is?
My thoughts exactly.....They can't get back soon enough for me....Too many higher ups in one location.....
Don't bet on it. There will be some dead terrorists- may already be- in Istanbul shorly and maybe some captured.
Ping... You out there?
Yawn
Any other news?
I too will be glad when the President returns home. I woke up abruptly from a nap Saturday afternoon because I had a nightmare where Mrs. Bush was seriously hurt. I was real enough for me to quickly check Fox News for updates.
Maybe this will satisfy the demands by Dem, that {resident Bush be on the Front Lines of this war leading the troops.
And that is just what he is doing with those world leaders, leading the troops.

ANKARA, June 28 (Reuters) - A large explosion was heard near a Turkish Defence Ministry building in the capital Ankara on Monday, the state-run Anatolian news agency said, but it was not immediately clear what caused the blast.
No, if they get involved then the Norther Alliance guys/Kurds will get all pissy and thats what the insurgents want...a big mess
"large explosion" "rocked the capital" "huge" "massive!!"
These words are absolutely meaningless. They describe anything from a truck backfire, mortar, car bomb or nuclear explosion.
I don't think the Turks are going to roll over against Kurdish terrorists for the sake of Iraq, and there's no suggestion Kurds were even involved. Turkey did nothing to help us in Iraq, as I'm sure you recall.
Don't beat up on the messenger.
I just posted what I read.
Wasn't my intention to beat YOU up as the messenger, friend.
Now the press as the messenger, that's a whole 'nutha enchilada!
Misinformed ? ... Turkey has passively helped with the war effort by opening its air-space etc.
I'm interested in these things, because I thought that the situation in Turkish Kurdistan had been resolved with the apprehension of Abdullah Ocalan, along with his subsequent call for a suspension of attacks against the Turkish military.
What has happened-outside of the liberation of Iraq-that has changed the facts on the ground?
