I got into one this afternoon with 3 guys from Delaware.........oh did we have fun!!!!!!
You should have heard them - and 2 of them admitted they have always been democrats...........but agreed when I said they were old fashioned democrats, also known as dixiecrats - that believe in personal responsibility, smaller government and less taxes.
Not one of them blamed me for leaving, including the one guy, who like me, is originally from NYC.
The lies continue until what is heard is thought of as TRUTH TM.
The numbers keep going up and up and never any reasonable, or believable, explanation of how those numbers are arrived at.
I'm not so incensed by someone that doesn't like smoking. I AM incensed by liars.

The gnatzies love to spout about how smoking is on the decline at the same time they keep upping the number of premature deaths caused by it...........which is it?

Hello everyone this is Aleisha the Tobacco queen. I'm glad that some of you support the Tobacco Festival. Its really no that Bad. The Festival Represents a historical thing...Tobacco. Tobacco has been a strong crop in the US for a long time. The tobacco festival is more representing that. But if you don't Believe me come and see it yourself. The Tobacco Festival will be held Aug. 26-29th in Ripley, Ohio. Ripley is located on US. 52 along the Ohio river about 50 miles east of Cincinati. Come and visit us.

Hello Aleisha...........excuse me for my scepticism.....but we have recently been inundated with folks purporting to be something they are not.........this being your only post and from a thread from another day and on a thread that was picked up and badmouthed on another forum and you not creating a home page on FR.......I'm sure you can understand why some of us might not quite be so quick to embrace your comments at face value.

She's for real. Ever see a "faux poster" that would give accurate directions, not to mention description, of the Tobacco Festival?
Everything she posted is accurate.
I spent many a summer working on my granddad's farm here in eastern North Carolina.
Although my family no longer farms, I would probably not be here without tobacco.
Both my mother's and father's families grew the golden leaf for many years.
