I SAW THAT SOMEONE HERE POSTED A THREAD ABOUT THE RALLY IN WOODLAND HILLS ON THE CORNER OF VICTORY AND TOPANGA. IM JUST CURIOUS WHO IT WAS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE EVERY WEEKEND FOR THE PAST MONTH AND WILL CONTINUE TO GO EVERY WEEKEND. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I CAN BE EMAILED AT MYRAWOPINIONS@YAHOO.COM

It makes perfect sense to me... But then again, I live right around the corner from that intersection.
And to our latest arrival, I'm not sure who originally organized that particular demonstration, but they'v ebeen there quite faithfully for months. (IIRC, since the beginning of the Afghanistan campaign.) I know that a few FReepers have joined them from time to time. (WH seems to have more FReepers than one would expect.)

ok ok...sorry about the caps lock....I know who started the rally on the republican side. I was wondering who is the person on this website that posted something here about it. Anyway, the main point of what we're doing is supporting the troops. We also support Bush too though. The liberals right across the street are bashing Bush and our troops. THey have defiled our flag by putting a peace sign instead of the 50 stars....the liberals also knocked down a 15 year old girl that was rallying with us. Woodland hills is in southern california. Los angeles county. Its technically in the San Fernando Valley. We encourage everyone to join us to help support the troops and Bush. If anyone needs anymore info. just let me know. Take care.

Had some run-ins with the so-called 'peace' types while I was in uniform.
Thankfully I restrained myself from doing any harm to them.
We had someone come down this last weekend that was in uniform and driving a military truck. He got out of the car and joined our rally to support the troops. I tried to join the military the day after the Nick Berg thing but I was denied. So I just support the troops the best I can without actually going over to Iraq. Its not by choice that Im not there though.
I left the military about the time all of this went down.
(LONG boring story.)
And a friend of mine signed up with a medical unit the same time I was leaving.
Basically I got out in time to say, "See you when you get back."

I had the same reaction you did, only I was at work. It really is the funniest picture I've ever seen. It perfectly expresses the "What the hell are you talking about?" sentiment.
BTW, I think its an old British actor named Robert Morley, but I don't know if I'm right or not.
He looks familiar.
I saved it as a background to suprise my husband when he sits down at the computer this evening. LOL.
