You can count on the left to do all they can to legitimize the terrorists. OTOH, the new government will have been somewhat case-hardened to their entreaties by the empty chairs around the table, won't they? Not to mention the booming of car-bombs in the near distance.
I don't think the Left will succeed in selling these cats much of anything.

Well, I don't think Kerrey and Gorelick look too bad yet, although it's a fair wager whether Jamie Gorelick hasn't got a Dorian Gray-ish picture hanging somewhere in her closet. Just saw a great critique on Rush's site of why she wrote that "Chinese wall" memo separating intel from DoJ back in 1995/6 -- to protect Slick from any justicing of his taking Chinese reptile money.

Then wait for the pope to come alive and complain about the man's dignity being maligned at being captured.
