Thanks for posting, Marie. Let Jay know that we're still here thinking about you both and praying for you.

O God, our refuge and strength,
comfort of all who suffer,
help me with your power
and make me well again.
You promised that you would
"turn our mourning into dancing."
Turn my sorrow into joy,
and my weakness into strength,

Oh Lord, hear our prayers.
We are praying now specifically
for Jay and his health.
We are humbly requesting that
Jay may heal.
We are praying for Jay's family.
Give them peace and comfort
that only You can give.
We are praying for Jay's doctors,
nurses and caregivers. Give them
wisdom and guidance.
We humbly ask all this dear Lord
in Your precious name.
In Jesus' most Holy and precious name.

O Lord our God, Who by word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every malady and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to this Your servant Jay and cure him of every sickness of which he is grieved; lift him up from his bed of pain, and send down upon him Your great mercy, and if it be Your Will, give to him health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to Father, and to Son, and to Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages.

Heard from Jay this morning. I believe he is out of intensive care, and resting comfortably in a room.
He said that without all of the prayers it would have been so very difficult for him.
So, I say let's keep on praying!
Thank You, O God our Great King, for Thy Tender Mercies and Thy Lovingkindness toward Your child, Jay! Please grant to him the continual Comfort and Presence of Thy Blessed Spirit; please make real to his heart the Love You have for him, O Lord of Mercy and Grace. Please cover him with peace, O God of all Comfort, and let Thy healing Hand rest upon him, we plead with Thee, our Lord-King! In Thy Holy Name we pray, amen.
Thank you SO much for the update - That's Great News - and I absolutely agree with your conclusion, that we keep on praying for him, and for his family.

Great news, thanks for the update. I've been out of town and needed to hear that.
Even on the road though I have been praying every night, glad that he is feeling the effect!

I just talked to Jay.
Lungs are much better. Breathing very well. Thought he was going to get the release soon, but now kidneys are only functioning at 25% so they are running many more tests. Pancreas is also not working.
We truly do need to pray for him and his wife.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your healing hand has been upon Jay's lungs ... thank You that You have given him ease in breathing. May such healing now take place in his kidneys and pancreas, for he continues to struggle. Grace his medical team with the greatest wisdom ... put before them just the right therapies to meet Jay's needs. May his thoughts be upon You and Your Word, Your promises and Your assurance, for in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Restore him, O God ... be the encouragement and the comfort that is so needed by Jay and his wife and their family, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
