...We need to understand the reality of that gore, and we need to understand it again and again. That's why I differ from my colleagues in the media, even the fine organization with whom I'm associated, FOX News, when I say, show me those beheadings of innocents like Paul Johnson and 33-year-old South Korean humanitarian worker Kim Sun-il.
Show me the senselessness of their killings. Show me the evil behind their killings. Show me it. Show me all of it. And don't sanitize it. Don't blur it, mask it, color it or frame it. Don't gloss over it and try to make us not see it or be appalled by it. You see, I want us appalled. I want us angry. I want us outraged. I want us sickened.

Of course, that`s why we will be seeing the Aru-Gharib prison stuff for the next 20 years. The elite media is for the terrorists.. You ever go to the Al-Jazeera website? Next time a democ-rat bashes the US, you`ll see him on the headlines of Al-Jazeera the next day. Algore was the headlines last week. Real nice, Algore on the headlines of the #1 network for terrorism telling the terrorists "Bush is a liar". Like Ann Coulter says, "The traitor party".
can't say I've been to the Al-Jazeera spot, but occasionally I catch MSNBC ;)

Guaranteed it will be in the headlines stretched out for all it`s worth.
I think the video is still up.
Ditto! Cavuto BTTT!
I do not even know what is winning and what is losing in Iraq. It isn't like we had any interests to protect in the first place.
Did we disarm Saddam? Sure, but he had nothing of any sort to worry about before we got there.
Did we avenge 9/11? No, wrong party.
Did we advance our interests in the War on Terror? No, it was a setback and a diversion. There are now many more people who hate us and are willing to die for their beliefs.
So, just what would you call winning?
Hey, don't think I don't see there's a difference between them AT ALL. There is certainly argument to be made there.
But there should be no distinction in what is publicly permissible and the perception difference of one being improper for TV and the other being a-OK is purely politically driven. The left would show a schoolbus full of bloody dead babies in prime time if it hurt Bush, and the PC police would shoot smokers if they could, but both ally to complain bitterly anytime it's shown on TV that there are people in the world who will hurt Americans if given a chance, and what the result will be.
"Bread and circuses -- the time-proven antidote to reality. Guaranteed to keep the meat content -- until it's too late."
Well said.
Sadly, it will probably take something like these events to happen at home to wake this sleeping giant we call home.
I figure that must be something they're waiting to talk about until closer to the election, when using Fallujah as a failure issue will play better. Another part of the reason they're so quiet now is exactly what was mentioned earlier, then retracted, about the media sitting on their asses in a hotel bar printing each others' rumors because they're too cowardly to actually report the facts by leaving their Marriott poolside to compare what's going on in the middle of that anti-American hellhole to the rest of Iraq.
I might be paraphrasing a bit, of course...
