I think Monica believes their affair only ended because it became public, not because Billy didn't have feelings for her. I'm sure he was telling her everything she wanted to hear. That he didn't love Hillary and they never had sex, blah, blah, blah - all very believable, and probably true, actually.
She is just now realizing what an ass he is and how he used her.
I once dated a guy who turned out to have multiple girlfriends (no wife). Honestly, I had never been around someone who could (& would) lie like that.

I think you're right. She figured he trashed her to save the presidency. But now the book comes out and she's just "the jelly donut closest to him on the tray" and she's p-o'd. She better keep those tapes in a safe place with instructions to play them if anything happens to her.

I was not refering to the gift evidence...it is the phone conversations that concern me.
She had already turned the phone messages from Clinton over to Starr. That's what the article is talking about regarding phone conversations. There's no evidence that she taped the phone sex calls.

hah! this is funny. Monica has tapes of the Bubba, and she's been keeping them secret.
As for what Bubba would do to someone who treated Chelsea in a similar way . . . . I don't think he would exist for long. And Bubba wouldn't even have to wag his bony, pasty finger to a camera. One of his minions would take care of any problem fellas. But, hopefully, Chelsea has better sense than to have anything to do with a married man.
