Mad Monica fires back (She has tapes of messages from clinton)
New York Daily News ^ | 6/26/04 | ELLEN TUMPOSKY in London, and TRACY CONNOR in New York

Hell hath no fury like an intern scorned.

Monica Lewinsky broke her silence and bared her claws yesterday, branding ex-lover Bill Clinton a creep who "destroyed" her and made her feel like "an insignificant piece of dirt."

As the former President stumped for his best-selling memoir, Lewinsky fumed that he belittled their romance and never apologized for smearing her reputation during the Sexgate scandal.

"He says he was proud of the way that he defended the presidency - at my expense. In the process, he destroyed me," she said.

"I was a young girl and to hear him saying some of the things he was saying today - it's a shame."

Lewinsky said her life would have turned out much differently if she'd never met Clinton.

She imagined that she would be a forensic psychologist, a wife and a mother.

"I have spent the last several years trying so hard to move on. I've lost a lot of time."

Lewinsky, 30, refused to comment to the U.S. media when Clinton's autobiography, "My Life," was published to enormous fanfare this week.

Instead, she gave a paid interview to London's Daily Mail and Britain's ITV News, which aired the half-hour segment last night.

In her most candid remarks since the scandal that rocked the country, Lewinsky portrayed Clinton as a money-grubbing cad incapable of telling the truth.

"It's offensive," she said of his chapters about their fling. "He could easily have chosen to take a few less million dollars and just not write about it."

At various points in the two interviews she referred to him as "the creep," a "liar," a "revisionist of history" and "a wax figure - without humanity."

She seemed unable to reconcile the Bill Clinton of today with the "tender" man who called her "dear" and "baby" and gave her gifts like Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass."

"This is someone I used to be in love with?" she asked incredulously.

While she kept her mouth shut when Sen. Hillary Clinton published her memoir last year, Lewinsky said she's speaking out now to correct the account in "My Life."

She's also angry about the "60 Minutes" interview in which Clinton said he cheated on his wife with Lewinsky "for the worst possible reason - just because I could."

"I was really upset when I first heard it," she said.

"He talked about it as though I had laid it all out there for the taking. I was the buffet, and he just couldn't resist the dessert," she fumed.

"That's not how it was," she said. "This was a mutual relationship, mutual on all levels, right from the way it started and all the way through."

What's more, she claims she can prove it with tapes of messages Clinton left on her telephone answering machine and gifts he gave her, all of which she kept.

"If I was just something he used 'because he could,' why call me?" she said. "Why fake all the emotions and the looks and the tenderness?"

"He touched me first," she added.

Adding to the insult is Clinton's refusal to apologize for the way he and his protectors maligned her at the height of the scandal.

"His strategy was to debase my character," she said.

Clinton doesn't seem to appreciate the fact that she refused to wear a wire and get him on tape, even though she was threatened with prison, she said.

"How would he feel if [Chelsea] was picked up in a shopping mall as I was by the FBI, taken to a hotel room, told she couldn't call an attorney and threatened with jail for 27 years?

"How would he feel if she was trashed by the person she had the relationship with?"

Now that she and Clinton are back on the front pages, she has just one question for him: "Can't you just step up to the plate and correct the things you did that were wrong?"

Clinton's spokeswoman did not return calls.

Pain - in her own words

On Clinton's comments about their affair: "He's acting as though it was nothing more than a bug bite that got infected."

On how he treated her: "He says he was proud of the way that he defended the presidency - at my expense. In the process, he destroyed me."

On his chapter about the affair: "He could easily have chosen to take a few less million dollars and just not write about it."

On her life: "When I look at photographs of me before all this happened, I can see a happiness there that has gone. He could have made it easier on me, but at least I have the advantage of truth."

She has tapes?

Wasn't part of her agreement with the investigators to tell the truth and give up all evidence?

If she did hold them back illegally, could she be forced to give them up at this late date? Anyone have an idea on this?

The only reason she wasn't is they had already murdered a woman with the initials M. L.

I wish people had more human decency than to aim even more punches at Monica. There are thousands of highly educated, well-respected people the world over who have been and continue to be duped by Billy-boy. Why is it so surprising that the child of a wealthy Beverly Hills divorced couple & recent college graduate with a position as an intern in the White House would become caught up in an emotional relationship with an older man?

In no way do I, personally, condone any of what happened, but come on...Bill Clinton used his power to suck her in, and he should have suffered consequences. But slick as he is, he has once again risen above all of us, and he is capitalizing on the fact that our sucker society will quickly forgive and forget his little fling that has wrecked this girl's life forever.

I say...more power to her! I think it is reprehensible that Bill Clinton is making millions off of this scandal. IMO, half of the money from this book should go to Monica.

GO MONICA! Make copies, and watch yourself. The Clintons have ways of making their "problems' go away forever.

And they are damaging, or she would have turned them over to Starr! Excellent!
This is weird. I can't believe Starr didn't subpoena anything and everything that Monica had connected to x42. Since the tapes are not in the Starr report then she's conceivably subject to an obstruction of justice charge. Of course if she does actually has tapes that could be the least of her problems. See "Arkancide" for reference.

"Wait a sec, Ian, I gotta post a reply. It's about my sex-crazed father."

The no-holds-barred mentality---like Clinton's admission that he dallied with Moanica "because he could"---is rampant in all aspects of liberalism and is a cautionary tale about the dangers of having liberals in positions of power, especially in govt and in media.

Disturbed liberals arrogant sense of entitlement is culturally destructive; they recognize no greater good higher than themselves.

Now this explains why they are paranoid about public manifestations of religion. After all, religion sets parameters for human behavior. Libs and religion----like holding a cross before a vampire-----they just go all to pieces (smirk).

Libs get their jollies dictating to the rest of us how to live, and what we can or cannot think or believe. ADL Abe and the Thought Police railed against The Passion of The Christ movie, The Passion. These religion-haters were paranoid that people would actually be exposed to religious thoughts.

Yet, here's what passes for deluded liberal "thinking" nowadays. Libs blithely say that 24/7 non-stop sexually explicit music and TV shows, MTV's raunch, violent blood and guts-filled videos and movies have no effect on audiences, especially kids, that its "make-believe."

However, a 15-second commercial is expected to compel hundreds of millions of Americans to buy billions of dollars of soup, soap, deodorant and depilatory.

Typical of disturbed, deluded liberals. They want to have it both ways........a good definition of schizophrenia.

Speaking of affairs...what ever happened to John Kerry's intern, Alex Polier? Is she still being hidden in Africa?

Apparently she now wishes she had kept it shut earlier as well.

Monica sweetie, he called you "dear" and "baby" because he COULDN'T FREAKIN' REMEMBER YOUR NAME, that's how much he loved you. And those little gifts? Seduction aids, honey.

For new insights into the terminal narcissism/sexual addiction of this predator, read "Bill Clinton, an American Journey" by Nigel Hamilton. It's an eye-opener and a devastating attack on the worst president in US history. Example: I didn't know that he made Jennifer Flowers get an abortion and later dumped her too. Women mean nothing to him except as a means of having his way. The word despicable does not quite fit him--he is way past that.

This is what Clinton SHOULD have said in his book:

As a political statement, that would have been brilliant, but there is his hubris to contend with. Swallowing his massive ego, even as a calculated maneuver, even for jsut a moment, would make him almost human, probably why he didn't. It is his character to blame others for his failings.

Plus, I don't get the impression that Monica has continued her prior skanky ways. Seems like she's wised up and settled down a bit.

I don't know about that, Xena. About the time Monica started selling her handbags on the web, I was creating a website for my business. Someone described to me a tactic many used to get search engines to hit on your site. In the same font color as your site's background, type keywords at the very top of your home page. The words won't appear on the screen, but will be hit by google, yahoo, et al. I checked the source on Monica's site at the time. You'd be shocked at the words this "wised up" young lady was using to get her handbag site to show up on search engines. Bill Clinton, lips, bj (spelled out), cigar, and other similar catch phrases associated with her Clinton affair.

I just thought I would mention the fact that most personality disorders are not considered a mental illness. Mental illnesses are usually Schizophrenia, Bipolar disease, Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, etc. which often respond in some fashion to chemical intervention.
Personality disorders such as Narcissism are harder to treat and usually require the affected person to be highly motivated to change.

As far as I know, Ms. Polier is still in Africa. She recently wrote an article describing her ordeal at the hands of the evil VRWC-controlled media. Yet, I don't think we've heard the last of her. Kerry didn't survive Gore's VP vetting process and Gore stated Kerry had woman problems. Also, Wesley Clark's comments about the intern preceded Drudge's Polier bombshell. I believe the October surprise Hillary has been hinting about will be a reemergence of Kerry's infidelities.

According to some people 'in-the know' is Worcester, Ms. Polier had a big crush on Kerry and pursued him. He is particularly vulnerable to tall, leggy blondes.

Clinton lives to be worshipped. I think the adjective, Clintigula, by some Freepers, after the mad Roman Emperor, Caligula, is not by accident. There are certain men for whom their own fame and being at the center of things counts for everything. Clinton, like his Roman namesake, is very much preoccupied with how he will be perceived by history.

"But it's okay for Monica to do it when Clinton's on the phone."

Bill knew he was being taped, since he was leaving a message for her on her answering machine.

If she 'exposes' the contents of the tapes, I'm sure they'll be pretty innocuous, just him buttering her up, as he asks for another 'favor'.

Most mental illnesses are treatable. Sociopaths can't be treated for their problem is not a lack of mental awareness but rather a refusal to accept a need to live by a moral code. They see the world as a dog eat dog world and only observe society's rules insofar as they stand to benefit from it and if its a hindrance to the pursuit of their self-interest, they break them without a scruple of conscience to fulfill their base desires.
