Washington, DC—“Al Gore's history of denial of the threat of terrorism is no less dangerous today in his role as John Kerry’s surrogate than it was in the 1990s in his role as Vice President, a time when Osama Bin Laden was declaring war on the United States five different times,” said RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke.

Have yet to hear Gore's comments, but a friend told me that Gore said that our response to terror was a greater threat than terror itself. Is this true?

If the Clinton/Gore administration thought OBL was such a threat then why wasn't talked about during the electrion.

Me thinks the gloves are coming off. Bush/Cheney's new ad is a must see. "Kerry's coalition of the wild eyed" staring Al Gore, Michael Moore, etc. It will cause a big stir no doubt. Wow!!

Just caught up on Gore's comments in another thread, so I'll answer my own question: Yes, it is true. Gore essentially said that our reaction to terrorism was greater cause for fear than the terrorism itself.

Gore has transformed from a wooden wonky bore into the eye-twitching lunatic Chief Inspector Dreyfus from the Pink Panther films.

Crazy Al needs to be fitted for a straight jacket! If he were President, Osama would still be running Trashcanistan and Saddam's human shredder would still running at full capacity. Braindead libs talk like they are for freeing the oppressed but how many have they freed in the past 30 years???

Course, he was famous for throwing a 10 yr old boy back to a murdering dictator.

Pray for W and Our Amazing Troops

Yes, it is true that the seditious (and for Michael Moore and others, treasonous) response of Gore and his co partisans to terror is a greater threat to the United States of America than the terrorists themselves.

A house divided against itself cannot stand.

He used to be VPOTUS. Let's show a little respect and let his opinion be heard, and give him a well-traversed street corner somewhere.

Everyone in support of "W" needs to continuously repeat the connection: "Algore" = (D). This guy is certifiable. Glad he wasn't elected.

Gore is really off the leash and frothing at the mouth. It is pure comedy. When does he start his act on a unicycle?
More seriously ;)...I think Al Qaeda would have been better off if they all said that they were Puerto Rican. If you remember, Clinton released all the Puerto Rican terrorists who bombed and killed US servicemen( I forget their name...the FALN perhaps?). This should tell you how serious the Clinton administration was dealing with terrorism. But if you read the 'the badge of honor' man's book, he was a WARRIOR in the war in Terrorism. Laughable...

Another lame statement from the RNC. It's as if they dashed it off as quickly as possible and put no thought into it. They could have turned it into a work of art ... one that patriots would be e-mailing to each other, and to undecided voters, all over the country.

When will Gillespie and Co. be imaginative, or aggressive,
in their press releases? I hope the upcoming TV ad is different and better. But it's long past time for this country clubber punch-pulling. Guys, take off that kick-me sign and start kicking the enemy.
