I heard Imus rant again against Michael Reagan in a strange example of possible microphone envy. Both Imus and Frank Rich did their best at Michael Moore-style "comedy" to insult Michael Reagan this morning.
Imus intimated last week that MR basically had no right or reason to be present at the side of the casket with Nancy, RonJr and Patti. The "I-man" made insulting remarks about Michael being the "adopted" kid, and that the rest of the family should "get rid of the adopted kid".
Is Imus transferring hatred of Ronald Reagan onto his son Michael? Is Imus supporting Kerry only because he doesn't like George W Bush? Is Imus too scared to directly criticize Reagan and Bush-43, so instead he transfers his disdain to people like Michael Reagan, Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld?
Is Imus suffering ranch-envy in comparison to Don Rumsfeld? Both of them have ranches in New Mexico, but was Rumsfeld's ranch paid for through a non-profit donation effort?
Back to Michael Reagan - would Don Imus insult one of the kids staying at his ranch if the I-man found out that the child were adopted - like Michael Reagan was?
Is Imus so grumpy because his show starts in New York at 6 AM? Is he grumpier than normal because he has to get up two hours earlier to do the show from the New Mexico ranch?
I listen to Imus for one reason: he gets a lot of worthwhile interviews on his show. Period.
When he was shilling for donations to his get a away ranch on the premise it was for kids, that was it for me. Granted I wasn't a regular listener. but all that money to have a few kids during the summer? What a scam.

Imus has abused so many drugs that he's been reduced to a shell of the 70s radio icon that he once was. He's deserves our pity and not much more.
The mumble mouthed moron actual brags that he bloviates about what he thinks people say (not what they actually say).
My sister's adopted. I'd deck Imus and Rich if they made similar remarks about her. They're just PUNKS.
I recently wrote a letter to WTKK (96.9) in Boston telling them I will not listen to the Imus in the Morning Show ever again and that they should get rid of it (and Barnicle and Egan and Browdy). The way to handle him is not to listen and to write letters to stations that carry his show telling them you won't listen. Radio stations sell advertising based on number of listeners so 96.9 will listen. After all, when listeners started tuning out Extreme Games (and writing letters to the station) and Extreme Games dropped from the number 1 show in the Boston market to the number 5 show, Jay Severin stopped his Bushbashing.
If you want to teach this liberal fartmouth a lesson, write a letter to your station saying you won't listen and then stop listening.

Tell me more about WTKK, I didn't realize Jay Severin went from 1 to 5....I thought he was doing good, he is a bombastic egomaniac though.

Matt Drudge was ragging on him big time a while back *LOL* I didn't know Imus had a ranch. He's so old, he needs to go out in the pasture with his cows.
Did anyone see the recent interview that Tim Russert had with Imus, his wife and his son. Imus' son seemed quite strange to me.
I thought adopted kids belonged to their parents just as much as biological kids. Imus is a rat for saying such a thing.
If all of us really started to ignore all these lunatics they might just go the way of the dodo bird. these cretians are still around because us conservatives are probably the only ones who give them the time of day.
I think we should stop listening to them period. they only have the occasional interview that we want to hear because these guys know its what keeps us tuned in. I say we need to tune them out. I havnt given a one of them the time of day for many years I only know about their antics because of FR. people used to ignore the fringe now it seems they are in our face constantly and taken seriously do the decent thing dont feed the crazies!!!

Met one of the local guys at Fess Parker's winery one day and mentioned to him that we were among the callers who had protested their being pulled for Imus. He was very grateful to all who had called.
