7-2 is a good count. Very little controversy. My money is on Ginsberg and Breyer being the dissenters.
To: 11th Earl of Mar
Beacuse they are valid this time.

Despite her own feelings on the subject, Hillary Clinton was not a member of the executive branch, which consists of the president and the vice-president.

You are correct, it's not a valid comparison.
Hilary was not an elected official.
The president and the vice president and members of his cabinet are entitled to advice that is not going to be made public. There will be no one willing to give advice if it's going to be fodder for the america hating media.

Because Hillary was not an elected Govt official.
Govt officials are allowed to have private consultations...and rightly so.
To: cspackler
Hillary was not part of the Executive Branch of the Gov't - she was neither elected nor appointed.

Justices said 7-2 that a lower court should consider whether a federal open government law could be used to get documents of the task force.

I love that last sentence. At least they don't mention Scalia without mentioning that the c-of-i questions are stupid.

...she was neither elected nor appointed.I first read this as "she was neither elected nor annointed." I was about to disagree. LOL
