"We don't need oil from Saudi at all. Gull Island has as much (or more) crude oil on the North Slope of Alaska as in Saudi Arabia. There are many hundreds of square miles of oil under the North Slope of Alaska. We have wells all ready drill here. The government permitted the oil companies to drill and prove many sites (subsequently making them cap the wells), but they do not allow them to produce from the wells. The only production permitted is from the small area of the North Slope."

Thanks great background info on this problem with the Saudi's.

What will the envirowhackos say about this? Then there's the old boys club in Congress fighting this drilling every step of the way.

How long would it take to go full speed ahead to keep us going? I know we have emergency supplies, but could we keep up with the demand if the oil in SA was compromised either by the Kingdom (doubtful) or by the terrorists (very possible)?

FBI Agents Raid Home (Near farm in Wash. - Cow Poisonings - June 25th)

POSTED: 4:30 am PDT June 25, 2004 UPDATED: 5:26 am PDT June 25, 2004

ALGONA, Wash. -- FBI agents raided an Algona home yesterday after federal agents found a possible link to the recent cow poisonings at an Enumclaw farm.

The raid took place less than 20 miles from the dairy farm after several cows were exposed to a toxic compound a few days ago. Three cows had to be euthanized and seven more are still ill.

Algona residents were surprised to see the FBI in their usually quiet neighborhood. "Yeah it's shocking because it's a pretty quiet community," said neighbor Mary Noel. Agents dressed in hazmat suits confiscated boxes of evidence including cleaning agents and unlabeled bottles of fluid.

Authorities questioned the man who lives at the home but he was not arrested nor has he been charged with any crime. Federal agents would not comment on whether more search warrants will be searched.

However authorities did say the investigation is ongoing and they are focusing on former dairy workers who may have a grudge against the farm or the farmer.

Do we have enough oil to keep going? you asked.

Mexico is full of oil, we close the border and send the illegals all home, maybe the one with work cards also and the oil will flow from Mexico. It isn't the best, but I would be surprised if it can't be made to work.

Then we put all the environmental protesters in those waiting concentration camps and open the wells that they protested about and have forced to be capped.

Then there is Alaska and the off shore rigs.

With the issue of gas stamps and rationing, we will survive.

That is supposedly just one of at least 2 reserves we have equal to the oil in Saudi Arabia.

And that doesn't count the replenishing phenomena recently reported in the Gulf of Mexico.

>>What will the envirowhackos say about this?

They are NGO funded to keep the knowledge about the wells quiet. Can't hurt the lemmings now.

The congress critters speak on behalf of the largest group that donates.

You know that circle jerk.
