Don't call.
Use the money you would of spent on a pay phone to sit outside tomorrow and enjoy a nice iced coffee latte.

There are certainly some high end amateur radios that hook into a computer. Starting price will probably be around $5,000. I classify this stuff as buying a Lexus or a Rolls Royce when a base model Chevy would accomplish 95% of the same capability for 10% of the cost. You can often buy quality used gear that has been traded in to a dealer by a person purchasing a fancier rig. Start simple and functional first.

BTW, a good antenna is often the best upgrade you can make to your radio setup. A longwire antenna with an antenna tuner can be tweaked over a wide range of frequencies. Check out this
MFJ tuner. It will work immediately for receive purposes and you can use it for transmitting later when you have the license and a transmitter. Small acquisitions over a long period of time permit you to assemble a nice station without crashing your budget.

Perhaps you have a policeman in your network.
Ask them to call the CEO as your agent from the police office.

JustPiper:
You are quite welcome, M'Lady.
All:
Does anyone know if our F117A aircraft have ever left CONUS for any reason other than combat deployment? I know that they were part of our initial strikes in GW 1, Yugoslavia, and GW 2. I may be wrong, but I don't believe that Clinton stooped to sabre-rattling with them, and President Bush has not displayed a tendency to shake his fist. Punch, yes. Shake, no. He means what he says.

"Opposition to Same-Sex 'Marriage' Will Not Be Silenced, Says FRC's Perkins
-- Prior to Amendment Vote, Senators to Receive Pro-FMA Petitions with Constituents' Signatures"
By Bill Fancher and Jody Brown
June 25, 2004
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Traditional Marriage -- A Critical Social Issue
The Senate debate and vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment is slated for the week of July 12. Perkins says while there are perhaps "easier routes" to protect marriage -- such as "Hostettler Bill," which would prevent federal courts from ruling on the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) -- they are not long-term solutions because they lack the permanency of a constitutional amendment."
