I was a little suprised that Bob Bevelaqua says we should conduct a few beheadings of our own.

did he? I'm not that surprised, except he said it (I guess) on TV.

I met him once, he is a graduate of the school I work at, and he spoke at the Alumni week-end events here about 2 years ago.

He actually did support the restriction of martial art weapons at one time- back in the late 80s I think.

It's quite clear that Bush should have done more to stop these acts. That is why I am proposing a full US weapon ban and a new program to appease terrorists at home and abroad. Buy Heinz! </John Kerry>

He was just on FOX awhile ago. He said it wasnt politically correct and would offend some liberals but didn't seem to care.

All that will do is force the terrorists to go to Home Depot and start stockpiling Saws.

I know I couldn't do the beheading but pulling a trigger is a whole different issue.

Oh and btw, their bodies would be found with panties on their heads.

Preceded by some be-footings, be-leggings, be-armings and be-memberings. Then, off with the head.

We might need some new theoretical underpinnings for a war such as this. Is it really always a crime to torture or maim if the result if the net result is to save lives? Was it wrong to destroy 2 Japanese cities filled with civilians? Not if it saved 500,000 American soldiers. Would it be wrong to commit unspeakable acts on Iraqi terrorists? Not if it saved a single American life, in my opinion. Bob is right.

Then a silence came to the river,
A hush fell over the shore,
And Bohs that were brave departed,
And Sniders squibbed no more;
For the Burmans said
That a white man's head
Must be paid for with heads five-score.

Yup...my sentiments exactly, take the prisoner exchange list they gave us recently and every time they pull this crap, we mark another one off the top of the list. That'll put an end to it.
