Civic and religious leaders gathered at the Morton Grove Village Hall Monday to celebrate a mediation agreement reached between the village and a Muslim organization over a hotly contested plan to build a mosque on the site of an Islamic education center.
While village officials and leaders of the Muslim Community Center said they were pleased to reach an accord, they admitted the agreement was imperfect and that the plan to build the mosque that would hold more than 500 worshippers remains far from a done deal.

The Clinton-Bush-Kerry administration, or whatever you want to call it, inflicts about 100,000 new alien muslims on us per year - issuing that many green cards to mohammadeans from terror-sinkholes such as Pakistan, Egypt, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc.

As it will when we scram out of Iraq, a virtual certainty should Kerry be elected to the Presidency this fall. It will not happen al at once. First, the decision to go into Iraq with 400,000 ground troops. This large of a call-up will cause the standby Selective Service draft to be activated. With this many serving in the armed forces, a large percentage of them unwilling, there will be a number of anti-war and anti-draft riots, and growing unrest on the home front. Since it would be both unpopular and a great burden on the home front, the troops in Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East would be withdrawn, and the departure would be far more chaotic than the departure from Saigon in 1974. The Islamofascists, sensing victory, would activate their sleeper cells throughout the US, and the battle would be joined in our own streets and back country.
England in the black days of the engagement with Germany, during the height of the Blitz, would have seemed to be an almost cheerful place to be in comparison. Even the firebombing of Dresden would look like a walk in the park on a Sunday afternoon.

Remain well-stocked and keep your powder dry. Also, maintain a small stable of horses for swift over-country movement. Yes, we're "luckier" than the Europeans, whose cheap labor imports have a higher "made in Mecca" content. Which means we'll get to keep the Western Civ flame burning for a decade or so after it goes out in the Old World.
