Micheal Reagan is a stand up guy.
Maybe the real reason that Ronald Wilson Reagan never mentioned adoption
around Michael was that he sensed that he did have at least one faithful,
honest and true son.

Whats to wonder?
They want to point to embyonic stem cell research as a positive benefit of abortion, to further justify the indefensable.

and my father, as I do, opposed the creation of human embryos for the sole purpose of using their stem cells as possible medical cures. Yup. Anyone who understood Ronald Reagan understands this.
To: siunevada
If the empirical evidence shows that adult and umbilical stem cells actually produce results and embryonic stem cells do not, you have to wonder what the motivation is to create embryos and then destroy them. I believe that the embryonic stem cell research debate is just another shift in a losing strategy by the pro-abortionists who, through the advances of medical science, have seen their most successful argument for killing children (i.e., the "viability of the fetus")slowly chipped away.
Now, because they see their pet strategy being systematically defeated, they are now shifting their focus to other ways that would allow the destruction of children.
Just my thoughts.
God have mercy on us.
Instead of asking God for His mercy, maybe we should pray for His justice.

he sensed that he did have at least one faithful, honest and true son.I was thinking on this today. Michael mentioned he was the "Chosen" son. It has some meaning when I think about. He is most like his father in his beliefs & politcal views. IMHO he is the most respectable of the children. He is certainly, seemingly, outwardly the most supportive & adoring son a father could wish for. And very grateful that he was in fact "chosen".

This is a GREAT column by Michael Reagan with a very Pro-Life position against Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
Please let me know if you want on or off my Pro-Life Ping List.

Thank God for Michael Reagan! He is following his father's example of speaking the truth in love, and adding to the light.

Thank God he has spoken out on this.
Ron Jr. thinks his 15 minutes of funeral fame are a right to speak for THE Pres. Reagan.
But Americans (and my apologies to ballerinas) are not a nation that looks to its' ballerinas for policy commentary.

.. you have to wonder what the motivation is to create embryos and then destroy them. As the article says, for the researchers it's money.
But I think the abortion industry and its supporters feel that it is a way, although a perverted and contorted way, to justify abortion. More simply, where ever and who ever makes a statement that an unborn baby's life has a priority over whatever constitutes a threat to their agenda because it exposes the hypocrisy of their "it's not a human it's a lump of tissue" lie.
On the other hand if it is acceptable to grow fetuses for parts it supports the lie. It's a billion dollar industry and a huge political base for the Dems.

=== I'm left to ask...If abortion was cheap and legal in 1947 would I be here today? When people refer to abortion as a choice wouldn't his mother have been choosing for all of us as well?
Good question.

This is a shot to the chops of Nancy Reagan as well.
She'd kill me if it would bring her Ronnie back, so one can understand Nancy's emotion.
It's good to see Michael out front on this issue. No wonder Patti and Ron kept their distance.
