He intitally indicated that he couldn't remember when he had the meeting. Then, he started his triangulation gambit, namely that he agreed with Blair that their position was between the US and European positions.

We on FR knew that, but of course, the MSM looked the other way.

Can you imagine if GHWB had gone around undermining Clinton in any way, let alone going to a foreign country (Clinton also went to France and Germany where he met with more success)? Why, it rightly would have been denounced as not right.

The double standard (meaning applying no standard to the likes of Clinton and now Kerry) is outrageous.

Blair has been known to joke, "Bill gives good blow" - meaning, he's full of hot air, meaning, he's full of rubbish.

Blair is a religious man, a subject not much discussed - I dare say that gives himself and President Bush a genuine basis with which to form a friendship.

Regards, Ivan

And, that would have meant Old Al would have run in 2000 and 2004. I actually thought that's why they were dragging out the impeachment -- to make sure that Gore taking over with only a short time left in Clinton's term would still be eligible to run for two full terms. That thought is enough for me to almost thank Specter! LOL.

This guy is OUT THERE

The more the elite press holds this psycho in esteem, the shorter their shelf life. I hope Blair comes out against his last statements. If he doesn't it will weaken his position.

Blair was stuck in the middle, stuck being the bridge to europe...

Funny slick, Blair hasn't acted that way.

LOL. Right. He said on that floor there was the Lincoln Bedroom and the Queens Bedroom but they were both too formal. Interestingly enougho, he said nothing about any number of guest bedrooms on the next floor that he could have used. Furthermore, the White House staff would have moved a bed for him into any room in the private residence if he preferred sleeping in those quarters. Still, to believe this absurd tale you'd have to buy into the idea that he and the Beast actually shared a bed in the White House. LOL

Didn't anyone want to sit next to him?

LOL!

Dubya and Laura were sitting on the end seats. At the time of that pic, Dubya was up giving his eulogy. Can't remember off hand who was/had been sitting next to the hillbillies.

I think he is PROUD of Kososvo

Rwanda is one of my greatest regrets.

i don't think the interviewer has asked a whole question in several minutes.

we got into the camps and saved alot of lives...

It's called character -- something Clinton knows nothing about!

Blair doesn't need to say much - he and President Bush get on well, and really that's all that matters.

I was surprised and delighted that they do, but apparently Blair relishes being able to rely on President Bush keeping his word.

Agree. Clinton is all about me. He is the shadow President, not a former one. It is outrageous that he would undermine US foreign policy. He is now prattling on about Bosnia and Northern Ireland. His regrets about Rawanda are laughable. He claims responsibility but then offers indefensible excuses. Always the victim.

Lynne Cheney got the short straw, with VP Cheney sitting next to Laura. None of the four had arrived yet.

His selective memory lets him remember everything back to when he was born. Then after 18 he can't remember anything!

In fact, I just remembered the other day I told some poster (troll?) about Clinton going to try and persuade Blair to pull his support of GWB in particular and Iraq in general.

This person poo-pooed me. I'll have to go find that person and tell them how Clinton, in this interview, did not deny that was his aim.
