June 21, 2004 -- CHELSEA Clinton's chic new look is turning heads. With her sleek, honey-blond coif and understated but deftly applied makeup, the former first daughter has undergone a dramatic transformation from bookish collegiate to soigne sophisticate - sparking rumors she had help from a plastic surgeon. Not so, counter a panel of insiders - who insist the 24-year-old's new urban-cool polish is the result of flattering makeup, soft golden highlights and a layered haircut that aspiring look-alikes have already christened "The Chelsea."
"I don't think she's had any surgery," says Dr. Z. Paul Lorenc, a Manhattan plastic surgeon. "The proportions of her face are the same ...
"She's an example of good aging, good skin care - she's just turning into a beautiful woman. She has strong cheekbones, beautiful eyes and an overwhelming smile."
Laughing off reports that Chelsea had a chin-lift and a nose job - or both - makeup artist Robin Narvaez, who has applied Chelsea's makeup for special occasions, including Bill Clinton's 50th birthday party, reveals the skinny on the tricks of the trade that sparked the scalpel-speculation.

She looks just like those blow-up dolls, seriously!
IMO this is her first stunt in her RUN FOR OFFICE!!
I never spoke out about Amy Carter, myself. She never gave us any reason.
If I was 24 and someone told me that I was "aging well" I think I'd pop 'em one.
Bust work? Who are you kidding? If so she should have gotten more for her money. Besides, you can do that with a Wonder Bra.
In the end what does it matter?
I've been out of grad school for 10 years and am making not quite half that.
She still looks like the Romanian dodgeball player on Ben Stiller's team in "Dodgeball."
WOW, a blind plastic surgeon. Must be something to do with affirmative action.
No, just a smart plastic surgeon who didn't get the job. If he did say it was plastic surgery, there could be a follow-up question as to whether or not it was a "good job" or if he could have done better.
Why alienate a potential future client who could need future "maintence"?
"They are in the early stages of trotting her out again."
Just in time for the DNC convention. Interesting timing - after the announcement that the Bush Twins will probably be campaigning for their father.
According to a young man of 24 I know "They're really Hot!"
Put Dr. Lorenc on your list of plastic surgeons to avoid if he can't see the many obvious procedures that Chelsea has undergone. Tell us doc, not to believe our lying eyes.
The eyes have been done and are now more almond shaped. The cheeks have been lifted (implants aren't necessary for this procedure). The gum line has been lasered and lifted. The nose bulb has been sculpted. None of these procedures would change the proportion of the face. Nice try from a doc who loves the Clintons.
The boy friend is a mouth breather, just like dear old dad.
1. She obviously had plastic surgery.
2. It was a good job ... nothing too Michael Jackson-ish.
3. She's pretty now. Not model or movie star pretty, but definitely pretty.
Wholeheartedly agree with you! Look for her to be a featured player at the DNC convention in July. Probably trotted out with Mummy and Daddy on stage for adulation and future campaign photos for her mother and herself.
I don't think she's had surgery. She's just losing her baby fat. She looks much better.
Where are these pics from? What event are these people attending with the Bushes?
Stay safe !
I think she needs a little more work on the nose to get further away from the simian look.
A pig with sleek, honey-blond coif and understated but deftly applied makeup is still a pig.
they're trying to make her look more like a clintoon and not like her father web hubble.
