I heard this little girl call and felt so emboldened to help out. Thanks for the numbers, etc.
Thanks, I just wrote a few Emails and asked if the money was worth promoting the terrorists to destroy Americans?
Interesting.
Conservatives were up in arms that The Passion wasn't playing in enough places and called it censorship.
They are now up in arms because a movie is playing and the want censorship.
So, are you for or against censorship or does it depend on who's ox is being gored?
The mans profitting off of terrorism ,just keep pointing that out.
I agree. It's an exercise in futility to try to offset the megaphone coming from the hollywierdos.
Fortunately their opinions matter very little.
The more we pay them ANY attention we give them what they want.
Gravity will take care of Moore's fat *ss.
Here is my email to all of them:
FREE SPEECH IS NOT HATE SPEECH.
Gentlemen,
While I support the First Amendment and believe in free speech, is it really fair for a partisan moviemaker to present what he calls a documentary, but is in fact a biased, out-of-context, not-the-whole-story, not-the-real-story, film masquerading as a documentary, and clearly designed to affect the outcome of a National Presidential Election by fooling its audience.
Do you think it would be possible for someone to follow you around, film your activities over time and make you look extremely foolish and bumbling by selectively editing the film?
Looks to me like there's a high number of non-US voters, ie
Non-US users 499 8.5
That seems like a skewing effect to me. Just an observation noted.

well put
If you've posted that on any threads I sure missed it. FReepers need to see that one! ROTFL
IMO, the thing to hammer home with these corporate types is that Jabba the Hutt's films are NOT documentaries, but PROPAGANDA. The point is, it's not an issue of "Free Speech", but of whether or not they want their businesses used as mouthpieces for political propaganda.
Jabba has no credibility as a so-called "Documentarist" and everyone - the public, the Holeywood moguls, even his degenerate cohorts - *know* it. Anybody who goes around blabbering leftist rhetoric on speaking tours and then makes the kind of movies Jabba makes, cannot be claimed to be any sort of serious analyst of anything more than cheap whores and cocaine. We need to make sure the owners of these distribution outlets are constantly reminded of that, and reminded that we *know* they know it, so that they cannot claim that any decision they make is uninformed...

Send a message to these 3, individually....their spam filter blocks email sent to all 3.
I believe Michael Moore himself admitted today or yesterday? that his film was an op-ed piece.
Is it a CROCKmentary or an op-ed piece Moore?
I for one will no longer go to movie theaters that show this film. Loews is on my list.
Again, "censorship" is NOT speaking up with your pocketbook. Telling these theaters that you will no longer visit their theater if they show this POS, is not censorship...it is sending a message with your pocketbook.
Money speaks.
If you happen to have a Regal club card, include your member number with your e-mail. I vowed to send it back to them if they screen Moore. There was a poster of Moore up at a Nashville cinema on Saturday, when we went to see Shreck 2, so they are that far along the path. Hit em where it hurts, in the wallet.
Apparently free speech entitles the guarantee not to say what you please freely, but the guarantee to have movie theaters disseminate it for you as well... at least if it has an anti-military/liberal point of view.

The controversy over Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 just won't go away. The film, which is being advertised with the strapline "Controversy? What controversy?", has been rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America, meaning no one under 17 can see it. Distributors Lions Gate Films and IFC Films, opening the film next week, are appealing against the decision. The rating came partly because the film shows images of US soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners, images Moore says he had long before the scandal erupted. He told Associated Press he kept quiet because he thought he'd be accused of "just putting this out for publicity for my movie".
Anger at Moore is building up, too. Pro-military lobby group Move America Forward is campaigning to "Stop Michael Moore from profiting in his attacks on America and our military"; Michael Wilson is making a documentary called Michael Moore Hates America; and the website www.moorelies.com is out "to expose America's fakest pseudo-muckraker".
Meanwhile, in the United Arab Emirates, the film is being offered the kind of support it doesn't need. According to Screen International, the UAE-based distributor Front Row Entertainment has been contacted by organisations related to the Hezbollah in Lebanon with offers of help. All in all, Tony Blair must be relieved that Moore is not going to make a film about him; Moore rebuffed the rumour in a message on his website headlined: "Sorry to scare you, Tony. Michael Moore was just kidding."
