Yes, I start my new church this Sunday. Same United Meth. You know how they love to play chess games with their pastors. We get to move a lot. Being retired has advantages though. I get to stay in the same locale. They call it part-time, but that is simply part-time pay. Kathey actually belongs to one of Jack's congregations. I used to pastor those churches. Jack complains about having to take my left-overs LOL. I was Kathey's children's pastor as they were growing, but back then Kathey and her husband were not going to church. They would send the kids because they lived almost next door to the church. They came to church for the first time the day Jack took over, and they have become his best workers. We have adopted them. They made the statement that they have "his family" and they have "her" family and they have "our" family. They addressed my Mother's Day card, "Rev.Mom". So, Kathey is with me for life. She has already promised to take care of me in my old age. What better friend can one have? She means the world to me. You know how "steady" she is, and how "flightly" I am. She keeps me grounded.
